My daughters had a great time there! The activities are well planned in advance and equipment or extra resources were brought in if required. For example, microscopes were brought out at the beach park on plankton studies day, and additional divers were called in on snorkeling day so that the ratio of adults:kids would be at least 1:1 or even 2:1! The kids even had kid sized wet suit to wear to make snorkeling in the frigid 10C ocean water more bearable! As a parent, I found that very reassuring! The only problem is this camp has set the bar so high for us that finding another camp as exciting and memorable for my daughters has become quite difficult! Good job Camp SEA Lab!

My son who is 12 absolutely LOVED this camp. It was the highlight of the summer. He came home brimming with stories of fun activities with new friends from all over who he hopes to keep in touch with now that he is home. He has struggled socially at school but by going to this camp and finding his people who are all passionate about the ocean and marine life, it has given him more confidence to stay true to who he is and I am sure it will help shape what he does in the future. I am very grateful to the camp and all the counsellors for giving him this experience...and hope he can return next year!

My daughter's time on Seaward in the Voyage Seaward camp was life changing. The crew, captain & naturalist were all kind, excellent teachers, and incredibly capable. The ship itself is beautiful. They gave her wonderful opportunities and learning, yet were safety conscious as well. I can't give enough stars! If your child has an interest in sailing & marine biology, do this camp! They offer needs based scholarships as well, through a fairly easy process.

My 9 year old loved every minute of this camp. After the first session she begged to attend the second session as well. She really bonded with the instructors and came home sharing interesting things she learned and exhausted from playing so hard.

My 14-year old son had a great time! He enjoyed the sailing, saw otters up close, and thought the squid dissection was really cool. Would definitely do it again!

I went here for three days with my class and my naturalist (dorid) was very rude and had and attitude with everyone it didn’t seem like she had experience with special needs students and was constantly yelling at a kid in my advisory who was special needs and treated him very badly she also spelled my name wrong multiple times and when I would tell her how to spell it she would become defensive and rude to me even though she asked us to help her remember our names or tell her our names
