I had a 2PM appointment for an ultrasound exam. I was at the check-in counter at 1:30PM and thought I would have a long wait. I was so wrong. By about 1:40PM I was in the ultrasound room getting ready for the exam. The nurse performing the exam was so very nice. Everything went so quickly... I was back in my car at about 2:10PM. I was very pleased with the RRH and staff!

Service was excellent!! When I approached the machine to sign in. I was greeted with I can help you. Three ladies were there without patients. So it was hard to tell where the voice came from. The young lady all the way to the left who loves the color purple. Things went very fast. I was greeted by a young man who was very pleasant. He drew my blood without any problems. Then I was on my way.

There were a lot of patients waiting to get help in the waiting room on Monday, December 30. I saw very little actually movement of patients into the treatment area in my 4 hours in the waiting room. I was one of the lucky ones - I got to have an x-ray taken after about 2 hours. After 2 more hours of waiting to be seen and have my x-ray information explained, I went online to the patient portal FollowMyHealth and read the radiologist report. With nothing showing that was really useful about my situation (nothing was revealed in my x-rays to explain my leg pain), I decided to leave. I was not the only person who just left instead of seeing a medical staff member. I have had pretty good luck in the RRH ER. Several times I was put on FastTrack which got me in to see a doctor or PA in a timely manner. I have always been triaged right away when I first arrive and then I am put on some list according to the severity of my symptoms. There were several patients arriving by ambulance on this particular night and like I said the room was packed (and overflowing) so I know they weren't sitting in the back room twiddling their thumbs. I THINK MORE STAFF IS NEEDED, even if they are just on call for busier times. I was able to get an appointment a couple days later to see an orthopedic specialist in Palmdale who ordered an MRI which I completed in Ridgecrest. I see the doctor to discuss the MRI on Monday January 6 (one week later) in Ridgecrest (he comes to Ridgecrest once a week from Palmdale).

I came to get x-rays and ended up leaving without getting them done. I have always had good experiences getting x-rays/MRIs until this time. I was told my wait would be about 20 min (standard). After 30 min, I (politely) asked the lady about how much longer the wait would be, so she tried calling the x-ray desk, multiple times, but no one ever answered. After waiting over an hour, the gentleman who came in after me was called back for x-rays. So I told the lady up front that I was going to leave and come back later and asked if I could schedule an appointment and was told they don’t schedule appointments for x-rays.

We arrived at the hospital 20 mins. early for our appointment. Checking in was easy and very fast. We waited 10 mins. and was taken to the back room where we were to see the doctor. We waited another 10 mins. before the doctor entered the room for our check up. The doctor entered the room and went over our recent lab works and medication we were taking. All in all, everything went very smooth and fast. We were out of the office after about 40 mins. total time. It was a great experience, with the doctor answering any and all concerns we had.

Had blood work and every time i go there i am so fortunate to have “Maggie” as my blood draw nurse. I have very difficult veins to locate, with the added difficulty of rolling veins. She is the first professional i have ever had in my 70 years that does her job with such painless ease!!

My technician (Jessica) was amazing, she's the best technician I've ever had...
Jessica did her best to give me good pictures of my baby and was very informative, explaining everything step by step while doing my ultrasound. She was also very gentle on my stomach, very friendly, nice, and helpful ?
Thank you so much, Jessica! I really appreciate people like you

Had Xray and lab work done at the lab draw station. As always, they staff are very friendly and professional. I have to have blood drawn from my hand, which is the phlebotomist isn't experienced can be uncomfortable. The phlebotomist who did the blood draw did a great job. I could barely feel the needle inserted..
