This Huntington Learning Center is great!
I have had 2 of my kids go through programs here. The staff here is easy to deal with and responsive. Scheduling of sessions are flexible and there is always open communication, when needed.

My kids enjoyed their time learning at the center and teachers are nice. With the 1 on 1 sessions, my kids got personalized attention to what they needed most. They were able to prep for things they have not learned in their regular school yet and be ahead of the game when it comes time to learn it in school.

Also not to mention, the location of this center is super convenient, right next to the mall and shopping centers. Great way to kill time while waiting for your kids to complete their classes.

Highly recommended to get your kid ahead!

My first grader loves going Huntington! The first day she went she asked me if she could come back everyday! She has learned so much and has gained so much confidence in his school. She originally started due to struggling in math now she hasn’t gotten lower than a 90 on any math test. she’s also growing in confidence with her reading skills and always super excited to show me a new word.

I highly recommend Huntington Learning Center. My Daughter was having trouble with her math, reading and phonics she needed to build her confidence in order to learn. Now my daughter Lanika khan is now on track and her math, & reading level more improvement . She was tested at school and came back she was above her math & reading level. I can’t t tell you how grateful i am to have you guys! The staff are all so kind, informative, professional, personable.

The staff at Huntington Learning Center are friendly and helpful. They answer any questions or concerns you have. They even set up meetings with you to tell you about your child's progress and what they are doing, step by step. They are wonderful with the kids, show interest in what is important to them, and they really care, not just about their progress in their work, but also how the kids are feeling. When I walk in, I always feel welcomed and comfortable there. The staff are always smiling and enthusiastic. I can hear the teachers from the lobby greeting the kids warmly and I see them leaving with big smiles on their faces. I had the fortune of being able to witness a boy in the lobby receiving a student of the month award and being congratulated for their hard work. I have seen kids walking out with stickers and certificates as rewards for good work and it is so sweet to see the smiles on the their faces. To see my kids having a good time doing school work in the summer time and wanting to go back, is amazing in itself. I love hearing things like, "I'm really learning a lot!" or "Can I stay?" Thank you to the teachers and staff for making that happen. If you want the best, do not look any further!

After 3 months of in person one on one tutoring at Huntington my son scored 1540 on his SAT, which was an improvement of 260 points over his PSAT score. I found Lauren, the executive director, was interested and involved in my son's performance. I do recommend that anyone hiring tutors for their children to discuss the quality of the tutor with their child as it varies greatly depending on the individual. The service was expensive but competitive with similar services offered by other companies. Overall I found Huntington to be a good value and I recommend their services to other parents that are looking to hire tutors for their children.

My son was struggling with remote learning and feeing frustrated and disinterested in learning. I’ve noticed a complete change since her started tutoring at Huntington, he seems excited and his confidence is growing. He is also having more ease with his assignments. Everyone really makes a point to connect with him and celebrate all of his accomplishments as he progresses through his program. The regular checkins and feedback from the center help to keep me informed of his progress as well. We are very happy with our experience here so far, I would recommend Huntington to anyone who’s child is struggling with learning!

I have been a teacher at this Huntington location for over a full year and I wanted to leave a review for what I thought about the center. To start this review off, I want to say that the entire teaching staff are truly fantastic, experienced and incredibly supportive teachers. There are teachers with decades of teaching in schools, both public and private, who have experience with students of all ages and needs. The support staff are working tirelessly to create events and opportunities to engage students and their families in education.

The center itself is well kept, organized and is dedicated to the education of the students. Students of all grades, kindergarten to Senior of High School, have the facilities they need to learn and grow as people and academically.

As a teacher, I find that students who attend Staten Island Huntington Learning Center do improve in both their academic skills and their personal lives, being able to come to a place that works hard to create a supportive and cooperative environment for learning.

Overall, Huntington Learning Center of Staten Island is a place where a faculty of diverse and experienced teachers and support staff work hard to create an environment of support and learning for children of all ages and grades. And I am proud to be one of them.

Although my daughter has only been here a short time, after years of tutoring, just running in circles. Once she started Huntington, she went from first grade level to just about third grade level, in just over two months.. not to mention her confidence is night and day!!! My daughter is enthusiastic again about school & learning. Huntington goes back to the basics and they get to the root of the problem, I highly recommend Huntington Learning Center for any child that struggles in a subject or academically.. Lastly they always make sure the parents are met with once a month to get in a step-by-step understanding of where their child was at & is now and what they’re working on well worth the money!!!
