Took my wife there due to severe stomach pain there diagnosis was cannabinoid poising
(Took much pot)After a couple of. Trips and another stupid diagnosis we stopped going to emergency room .come to find out she had diverticulitis pullups that needed to be removed,a relatively basic procedure we went to st .Joseph's hospital .t doctor Kent got assigned to her surgery he botched it she went septic and died they brought her back to life put her in ICU for over a month only to have to go to rehab for two months and she has never been the same
Moral of this story go south for medical attention.

This emergency room is USELESS! They have no compassion for anybody, and zero sense of urgency. You’re only two hours from Santa Rosa. Skip this place, and go there! You will be seen sooner. This place has stupid policies in place, with a rude staff that has no business working in “healthcare”

i live nearby, am 83 years old, in very good health, and i have visited this hospital numerous times. i must say that i am very disappointed that they were unable to reverse the aging process; otherwise, i think they are a treasure--highly efficient, caring and skilled. i trust them !

My husband had a relatively sudden onset of excruciating pain and we assumed we would need to go to Eureka or Santa Rosa to get quality emergency care at 2:15 AM on a Saturday. But we decided to give this place a try. We drove to the door and a nurse came out and met us in front. No wait. Thoughtful care, quick registration, had bloodwork done within 20 minutes, saw the doctor within 45 minutes, who got pain under control followed by a CT scan with results and diagnosis of kidney stone within a couple of hours. Helpful and attentive staff despite one nurse and tech helping at least 3 patients with critical issues.

I have had to use this Emergency room over the past almost 5 years. The first time I had to use it, it was just an aweful,truly sad,almost killed me experience. And from then on out I had vowed to only use it when there was no other options for me and I took some one with me to help advocate for me. It WAS truly a place to go and well .... perish. HOWEVER HOPE IS FINALLY ON THE HORIZON IF YOU COULD GET MORE STAFF LIKE THE ONES I HAD TODAY.

I am not sure what has happened over the years but it has got a lot better. the last two time I went was over the last two years, and I can honestly say my faith has been some what restored. when I first had to go(5 ish years ago)I had a doctor refuse to treat me because I was a smoker and I had to go to willits for treatment. I almost didnt make it there. And now, I have doctors and nurses listen to what was going on and actually cared enough to attempt to help make it better. not just kick me to the curb because i smoked and had the flu and couldnt breath because of it all. today i went in and had one of the best experiences with a nurse named bill and a er tech i believe her name was christine? they were so calm and knowledgeable, they were compassionate and understanding, even when some one else was there literally screaming names at them.they not just did their job but took the time to hear me out. they made sure i understood everything that was going on and treated me like a human being. they didnt rush me when i was trying to breath threw the pain to get me to talk like some of the others have done in the past. they didnt pass judgement because i didnt know what was happening with my body and was scared. they took great pride in their work and work place. I would give them and the doctor I saw 5/5 stars if this was my only visit. but its not. I believe they need more staff like the ones i encountered today to help this community and to get this establishment to a 5/5 review. (and bill and christine need to be rewarded with in the company some how, raise? vacation? award with a new car just some ideas!)

They charge you for services they didn't render then fight like hell to not remove them from bill if you dispute it.

I have had A few blood draws there. Easy, fast, staff is nice. The buildings and rooms are clean and neat. Grateful the rural community has access to a hospital. Thank you!
