My daughter has been with Avtar since she was 18 months old and the transition period was so easy. Shes now 3 and loves going there everyday. On weekends she is asking to go see Avtar. She is so kind, patient, and nurturing which is everything I wanted in a care provider for my daughter. I love that things are not strict like a larger facility as well.
Avtar’s prices are very affordable and I have never gotten the impression she only cares about money. She truly cares for these children and you can see it everyday. I would recommend this daycare to anyone as I am beyond grateful for Avtar.

This is the best day care facility in Redlands . We are glad and thankful that we found her to care for our daughter from 1 year old and she is 4.5 now and she still goes there for half a day every week. She is very caring, kind and ensures kids have developed and are more than ready for school . She played the role of my daughters grandmother. Every day I drop her she hugs her and every time I pick my daughter my daughter always smiles and is super excited to have spent her day there. I am beyond thankful to find such a nice person for my daughter , we feel Avatar as a family more than daycare. If anyone has a chance to send their toddlers to her you would not regret .

Avtar Dhillon is a wonderful woman and caregiver. We had tried other larger facilities and other in-home day care centers, and none provided the level of care that Avtar provides. After a few years Avtar feels like a family member to us and our children, we have never had any concern that our children were not stimulated or cared for in every way while at daycare. Our daughter has "graduated" to preschool now, and she was emotionally, socially, and intellectually prepared due to her time with Avtar.
Another reviewer says Avtar only cares about money and in my experience that couldn't be further from the truth. Avtar helped many families who went through rough times financially during the pandemic, is always tactful when it comes to payment, and charges a very fair rate per day. We do not have any concern in recommending Avtar's daycare to our friends and family, and I know other families with children at the daycare feel the same way.
Another reviewer also says their children had unexplained bruises and bite marks when they came home, and this has NEVER been the case for either of my children. I think the boys the reviewer described would play rough with each other resulting in this problem. Also about the mosquito problem, the entire area of East Redlands had a biting mosquito problem in summer 2021, Avtar did everything she could to allow the children to still go outside, including installing bug zapper lamps all around her yard and using other treatments.
In summary, if you are looking for a safe environment for your children to attend daycare and grow, look no further than Dhillon day care.

Our daughter has been with Avtar since she was two months old in 2017. In short, our child will be ready for the social, emotional, and academic aspects of school next year largely due to her time with Avtar. Avtar is warm, nurturing, and considering she sees our little one for more waking hours than we do during the week, is like family.

Kids receive balanced meals, academic lessons, and personal attention. Avtar is happy to report as many details to you about your child as you need.

Every time we have a friend who needs ongoing childcare, we always bring up Avtar first! We cannot recommend Avtar enough!

We can't say enough positive things about this daycare. Our child LOVES Ms Avtar, and she provids a safe, consistent, and enriching environment for him. He comes home reciting new songs/games/poems/etc that he's learned there, and he always looks forward to going. Also her rates are extremely reasonable and she was able to offer us the flexibility of schedule that we needed.

Our sons have been going to her since 6 months old
(now almost 3yrs old) - we helped her out with referrals with other families and took our kids to her during the pandemic when she was struggling for business and was begging us for any referrals (even though we didn't need to). I noticed after a while my kids needed more stimulation and decided it was time to start a preschool with more structure but still wanted to help her out and take my boys to her two days a week. I committed to two days a week in early May, told her I needed to secure the space with her especially because I had a big work trip coming in the future and would be traveling 3,000 miles away in August. I informed her my kids needed two days with her and the rest was at a new preschool, she said fine. Fast forward to August - right before my work trip, she said she had a family that can pay her more money so she's giving us a 2 week notice. She did not care that we were panicking and had no place to bring our children to. My kids thought she was family. I was devastated and heartbroken that she looked at my children as a paycheck, even after everything we did for her and the amount of time we had been going there.
Since starting the preschool, it brought to my attention how inadequate her services are. Our boys would come home from Avtar's with bite marks or bruises and we were never told anything at all (never an accident report), we never knew what they were eating that day for lunch, and my kids always came home ridiculously thirsty - never seemed like they were getting enough water, or any. She also has a terrible mosquito problem that never seemed to go away, my kids would get eaten alive at her place- no idea why she would never take care of that.
I'm sad how it ended, but I found out there are so many better places out there. I would not recommend this place to anyone, she looks at kids as a payday and her business is completely unethical.

My 18 month old daughter loved being there and made friends right away. She always brought home things she was working on throughout the week. The place is clean and there's lots of learning toys and print outs to work on.
