What a magical place. My daughter attended ALC for her final year of preschool and my only regret is not sending her sooner. The learning philosophy is amazing, the teachers so nurturing and the space is ideal. Garden time and art were the highlights for her - working with amazing materials and seeing the “fruits” of their efforts. ALC built a strong foundation of curiosity and love for learning that carried her seamlessly into kindergarten and beyond. I can’t say enough to sing the praises of this wonderful hidden gem on the hill.

My son and daughter attended ALC Preschool and I’m so glad they did!

My son was a more shy boy but he came alive with his friends and teachers at school. He would come home and be able to tell me about the things he was learning through play.

My daughter is a social butterfly and was given the opportunity to focus in on projects, we discovered her affinity for art, and her imagination grew.

The Reggio approach in itself is a great opportunity for children to learn in an age-appropriate way but the teachers and the director in particular are what makes this school special.

ALC preschool is a great school, and we highly recommend it.
My son went here for 2 years and he has learned so much, and the best part is that he enjoyed every single moment with his friends and teachers.
You have to look at their artwork, and what they do. It is truly amazing to see what these children can do and create from their little hands.
It is a play based school but you will be surprised how much they are academically ready for kindergarten. They learn from playing!! How fun can that be.
We are so glad that he went until he starts kindergarten. He was emotionally, physically, mentally and academically ready.
We are so happy that his preschool years were spent at a great school with wonderful teachers, friends and family.

ALC has absolutely exceeded my expectations and has been AMAZING! I currently send my 3 and 4-year-old there and they love it so much. We've been to another school and other preschools really don't compare. And believe me, I've sat in on days and truly seen what the day looks like. I'm also a developmental optometrist and treat little ones with visual processing deficiencies and specialize in helping children with sensory and developmental delays, so I've been very involved and done research on preschools and how my little ones are spending their days. ?
ALC has been so amazing and absolutely exceeded my expectations in every way. The student-teacher ratio is better than anywhere else, there are amazing hands-on activities with more sensory learning than you could even imagine. The parents of the other students there are so amazing and as a single mom, I've been so thankful to make some really amazing parent friends. The teachers are so patient and caring and have created such a warm environment that my kids run on to school hardly giving me hugs because they love being there so much, and I practically have to drag them out of the school to go home, lol. ?
If you'd like to set up a tour, Jose will get you set you all set and he is just the sweetest person you could imagine. He's so passionate about development and dedicates so much time to creating the most amazing environment.
I know how hard it can be to find a nurturing and encouraging place to send your little ones off to while you're away at work and this school has genuinely brought tears of joy to my eyes and relief to my heart as I've felt the inevitable mom-guilt of heading off to work. I'm genuinely just so thankful I found them ?

My grandchildren go here and they absolutely love it. Every time I have been to the school to see them or pick them up, they are always having fun and excited to share everything about the school and what they have learned and the fun activities they have done. I have definitely felt like the entire staff truly and deeply cares about these children as they do so much more than the other schools in the area. I am so happy my daughter found the school to send her children to. They are thriving and absolutely amaze me with how well they’re doing.

I highly recommend ALC Preschool. Both of my daughters attended and started at about 2 years old and they loved every minute of it. The staff is so attentive, knowledgeable, and loving, I’m so glad we chose this school. My kids loved the teachers so much they felt like family and they were so sad to leave when it was time for kindergarten. Safety and security are extremely important to me and I always felt comfortable dropping my children off for school because I knew that they would be taken care of. The school does a great job of creating a fun learning environment where the children and their families can come together to create a supportive community.

My son graduated from this preschool and transitioned amazingly into kindergarden. He was extremely happy at this school and also learned English very well, which is not our mother tongue.

Currently I have my daughter enrolled. First she was enrolled in the two year old program and now moved up to the three and older group. She is thriving and loves all the teachers there. I am always amazed what she learned during her day at school and I like the natural materials they use at the school. It's very much focused on nature and the Reggio approach. I would recommend this school 100%.
