Kumon of Foothill Ranch led by Ms. Nikita is a great find for parents who are looking for math and reading assistance for their kids. They did a solid job helping my daughter learn to not only read at a faster pace, but also comprehend what she was reading through various Kumon exercises she did daily. In addition, the team did a great job of solidifying her fundamental math skills through coaching, homework exercises, and sharing different ways of solving math problems that will help my daughter be set up for success in the future. Finally, Ms. Nikita is the definition of an educator that really understands the needs of her students by keeping in constant communication with the students & parents. She asks good clarifying questions to identify the needs of the students and knows when to challenge her students more or take a step back to ensure the concepts being taught are fully understood. My wife and I are very thankful for our experience with Ms. Nikita and the Kumon of Foothill Ranch team!

Absolutely wonderful program for your child if you're looking for additional help! My son was struggling a bit in reading comprehension and that was the area that I wanted him to get a bit more fluent in. Ms. Nikita did the original assessment and really explained the program and how to get my son to our goal level.
She was very informative, clear & so accommodating with the vision of what Kumon can provide for my son.
Ms. Olivia was his main teacher working with him but also Ms. Nikita was very involved on his progress, and testing. My son shows so much more interest in reading comprehension and willing to take a little quiz after he reads to share what he read! The environment is wonderful professional and the children there model exceptional study habits and behavior. I'd highly recommend This program to anyone that is on the fence about joining! Invest in your children and if you can afford this please go for it!
Also the homework is not too much it was just right for us.

I have enrolled both my son and daughter in the program. Our kids love the program and the center very much. All teachers are very professional and caring. My kids have learnt a lot and thanks to the amazing program. We have enrolled our son in multiple kumon centers and this center is the best. We have seen a great transformation on our kids and my daughter loves kumon though she is just 3. We would like to specifically mention about Nikita who is patient, Caring, flexible and knowledgeable. She not only helped our kinds with kumon and also provided feedback for our kids improvement.

Our son has been at this Kumon center for 2.5 years and we are floored by the progress he has made not only in math but also with focus, discipline and penmanship. Above all this center stands out because of the personal connection the entire staff makes with each student. When I went to kumon as a kid the whole experience felt so robotic. There weren’t many positive memories. At foothill ranch every teacher guides the kids with kindness, encouragement and a positive environment. This starts right at the top with Nikita who sets the bar high with how involved she is and how much she truly cares for the success of each kid. If you’re considering Kumon for your kid and live in south Orange County I highly recommend the Foothill Ranch center.

Both my kids have joined this Kumon center. My 7 year old son has been a student for over 1 year; he has made incredible progress in ELA and went from avoiding books to enjoying chapter books on his own. He is now working on improving his math skills and fluency. My elder daughter is currently working on her reading skills and we see the benefit from daily exercises of comprehension passages and vocabulary work.

The director, Ms Nikita, goes above and beyond normal reading/math practice skills. She takes time to interact with each student, develop individualized plans and checks in weekly to ensure everyone is making progress. Ms Nikita organizes many supplemental activities and events that help the students feel like they are part of a learning community. It keeps them motivated and enthusiastic about attending sessions. We could not be happier with the Foothill Ranch Kumon Center.

As a kid, I attended Kumon for 7 years and have attended various Kumon centers so I thought I knew what to expect. This location is best in class in my opinion. Nikita and her team far exceeded my expectations. She runs a tight ship and closely monitors my kids progress. We have moved to another state and we still keep our enrollment at this location via zoom appointments!
My favorite part of the program is the 1 on 1 sessions that my 3 and 5 year olds receive twice a week. These 1 on 1 sessions are not available at every location and I feel they are what we value the most. We are extremely impressed with our teacher, Ms. Olivia. She is an experienced educator and she is super patient and has high belief in my children. I questioned if my 3 and 5 years olds were ready for Kumon, and Nikita reassured me that they will rise to the occasion if I gave them the opportunity. I am so glad I signed up my kids during the pandemic. After 9 months, both kids are reading on their own. I am utterly shocked. We started not even knowing the alphabet. This was the best Kumon experience I can ask for. Thank you, thank you, Nikita and Olivia.

The way they teach each kid with special care and attention, is no where close match to any other kumon centers in Orange County area. Under Ms. Nikita’s management, who is the best tutor, will have good relationships with parents and keeps updated about every kid’s progress.

But above all, what makes the difference in Kumon Foothill Ranch, is the dedicated team that tailor to each kids needs. As a parent always find a quick response comunicating with the team of teachers and director. And their option of online class during these Covid times has been fantastic and the learning has continued.
