If I could give a 0 I would. I didn’t mind the instructor coming late a few minutes but to just not show for the class then promise a class the following week and not attend was crazy. My class was supposed to start 12/11/23-12/14/23 in person! I wasn’t told until the day before not only wasn’t it in person but the time moved to 6pm from 10am. I had called due to my books not being delivered yet. My classes went all the way to February due to all the reschedules and no shows. Nobody responded to me for weeks about the last two classes promised, then when they did they told me about an upcoming class and never sent the link for that class so I could login twice!!

I’ve been a student of the MDS Training Institute since 2016, renewing my certification when it comes up, and it’s been lovely. Granted, I had some experience before getting certified, but the program is easy to understand, and the instructor, Susan Tucker, is very personable and knowledgeable about the MDS process. There’s longevity too, as she’s been my only instructor since the beginning, and I’m always happy to join a new class for the continuity. I work out of Brookfield, Illinois, and an old girlfriend turned me onto the site, which is something I’ll always be grateful for. Five star rating for my experience.

I decided to change over to being a Restorative Nurse and attended MDS Institute it was efficient and straightforward. Literally less than a week after receiving my certification I was offered a position at a facility that I was working as an agency nurse. On top of that blessing it was a dual position MDS/Restorative with that being said I learned some of the basics of MDS when taking the Restorative course. Last but not least the MDS Consultant for the company arranged to pay for me to take the MDS course and now I’m certified for both roles and right on time for the new MDS changes. For me I love the fact it wasn’t a lengthy process just straight to the points and study at your own pace and done.

Current student. What a complete waste of $800. The instructor/talent manager ST is not an honest business person. I was promised this program was a nationally recognized program and not a scam. False!!! Instructor never starts on time or just completely no-shows, with no excuse. I am not rich and I trusted this company to only get nothing in return. This current program was supposed to end 6/8/2023, it is now 7/6/2023 and we still have 3 more classes. I don’t feel confident that I will receive a certificate even with passing the exams. Save your money and your time, DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been a student of the MDS Training institute since 2018. I am renewing my cerification for Restorative nursing again. I would like to applaud Suzanne Tucker for being an awesome instructor. She is extremity knowledgeable about the MDS process, is willing to answer any questions in a timely manner. I have recommended this course to a co-worker interested in Restorative Nursing.

Instructor is either late or does not attend the webinar. Also tries to promise you she will give you 1 more class to make up for the class that she missed attending, but S. T. is just full of promises. Please return my money back! Cost me 1K and never got my Restorative Nurse Certification. I’ve been waiting until now the class was from July 25- July 29 it kept getting extended I’m still waiting for her response, that last class she promised and my certification. I would love to get my money back or at least my certification.

MDS Training Institute is a great program. I took the class and also a refresher course. S. T. has always helped with resources and I was able to get a job right away . I always refer people to the program that are looking for change . If you’re thinking about it you already made the right choice so go ahead and register.
