My Daughter's math tutoring experience has been great. In about one month she went from failing math grades to passing. Her confidence has also improved so that she's now enjoying math again. My daughter also expressed that her tutor is kind and patient which is a plus!

As an upper level college student tutoring sessions have been great! It’s extremely helpful to have someone even to just discuss ways to approach problems even at my level. You never know how someone else’s knowledge/education can help you. My tutor Jada has been helping me in my physics courses for about a few months now. The owner of Stemly Tutoring, Alexa, is kind, intelligent and very easy to work with. She connected my son with Jada for AP Physics tutoring. Jada and my son have been working together once weekly for over 3 months to prepare him for the AP exam next week. My son really enjoys working with Jada. I like how Jada sends me emails detailing what they worked on during the session and what’s to come. Let’s hope that all of their hard work pays off next week!

I have been very impressed with Stemly Tutoring. My daughter was struggling with AP Calculus and AP Physics, and she was paired with a wonderful tutor who specializes in both subjects. The tutoring sessions are thorough and highly personalized. They talk through problems, and her tutor is able to explain things in a way that makes the material easier to understand. She always has a calm and encouraging demeanor. Also, she is very accommodating and flexible. My daughter has easily been able to reschedule sessions when there have been conflicts. Overall, we are very pleased!

My kids have been working with Alexa’s team over the past couple of months in math and science. Both experiences have been great and are tailored to the needs of my kids and the areas they need support. Alexa has some impressive tutors with strong academic qualifications. Thanks to Alexa and her team. After several attempts acquiring tutors for my niece I just couldn’t find the right fit. Once I called Stem Tutoring and spoke with Alexa, she assured me she had someone that could help in precalculus. She assigned Jada to tutor my niece, and she was so right. Jada was on task! She helped build confidence back in math, and help raise her grades up 2 levels. I was totally pleased with the level of instructions that were provided and the outcome.

Working with Alexa at Stemly has been a fantastic choice for getting a one-one-one tutor for our daughter. Our daughter has been doing Kumon for years which has worked out great until now, but this year she fell behind and the Kumon lessons were not at the level where she currently was in her high school math course. Our daughter met with the class teacher between sessions and attended an on-campus peer-to-peer tutoring session, but still didn’t quite get it. After getting a 50% & 60% on a quiz, we knew we had to do something, and fast. Luckily, we discovered Stemly through her school emails and immediately inquired on our options for helping our daughter improve her geometry/ trigonometry grades this semester. Since signing-up and making the investment in our kid’s math skills, we’ve witnessed her gain massive momentum in understanding the fundamentals that she could build upon throughout the semester. As a result, our daughter went from struggling to keep up to making tremendous progress and drastically raising her test scores in just a couple of sessions. Thanks to her tutor, Bre (an PhD candidate :-), her understanding of the class topics instantly improved, she felt more confident in navigating the course, and now she never hesitates to ask a question if she needs a little more help expanding on the topic she didn’t quite understand. Furthermore, Bre is fantastic and they really made a connection that inspired our kid not only in math, but in the pursuit of higher education.
