The best decision I ever made was sending my son here. I was at the point where I didn't think anyone would be able to teach him to read. I tried private tutors, IEP at school, and home school. He was there for a month and went from a first grade reading level to 6th grade reading level! He is going into 6th grade, so this was beyond my expectations with how far behind he was. I can't recommend this Sylvan enough. They are amazing.

I can not say enough good things about Sylvan Learning. Mr Richie did an amazing job at capturing my boys attention and helping them learn and get caught up with one on one attention. Very patient and kind. Katie and Blake made sure they stayed on top of their work and where they were at academically also to help make sure they were on target to graduate. Highly recommend this location, wonderful people that care about your child's education

Sylvan has had a positive impact on my seven year old granddaughter both in her improved academics and in her confidence, as it relates to her ability to learn! Both Blake and Katie (owners/administrators) performed a thorough assessment of Juliette and have been very responsive/informative through the entire tutoring process. A special thank you to Juliette’s tutor, Morgan, who has done an outstanding job in educating and motivating Juliette. She has progressed from mid K level to end of 1st grade level (where she should be) in an amazingly short period of time. Juliette looks forward to her time at Sylvan, and their system of tokens earned towards a prize makes it fun! I would highly recommend Sylvan Lake Nona!

I can't express the gratitude we have for this place! Blake and especially Katie who spent 1:1 time with my child to help pass the PERT exam! They went above and beyond to get us in last min for help! Don't be like us and wait until the last minute, call and get scheduled-it's so worth it!!!!! Thank you for everything!! My daughter has been attending Sylvan for a couple of months now and I have nothing but amazing things to say. From the owners Katie and Blake to the 2 tutors Anna and Safi who work with my daughter everyone has been nothing short of great! Anna has really helped me understand my daughters need with Math and has been very patient with helping her get to where she needs to be. Safi is just as amazing as Anna with her level of patience towards my daughter. Blake and Katie have really helped me so much from day 1 seeing a single mom overwhelmed with not knowing what else to do to help her Math struggling daughter. They have helped me and my daughter so much I wouldn’t recommend any other place if your child is needing some extra help or even if you just want your child to be ahead. Sylvan Lake Nona is the place to go!

My experience has been very positive with Sylvan Learning Center of Lake Nona. First of all Blake and Katie Stine explained the process and evaluated my daughter to see what tutoring was needed. After the evaluation my daughter has been in the caring hands of Katie, Savannah, Safi, and Anna. They have done an amazing job teaching her to read. It is hard to believe the progress she has made in such a short time! We can't thank you enough for your help and look forward to math tutoring next. It is a comfort knowing that Sylvan Learning of Lake Nona will be there for us. I highly recommend!

We are extremely happy we found Sylvan! They have been working with my 7 years old daughter for the last month and already got great results. She is reading faster, motivated to learn and becoming a better student. They helped her not only with her reading and comprehension, also they helped her to build up confidence. I really don’t recommend this place when I took my kid the first day after my kid complete the evaluation the owner take me to the office and offer me this type of loan that I wasn’t sure to take it he sell me this and doesn’t let go out of the office without fill the application he told me that the first payment is going to be an amount and then the payment was going to change that was completely a lie. After the pressure and all that he told trying to convince I sing because my kid was struggling a lot on reading. That’s not all the loan was super high the payment. He waited 3 months to make the evaluation to my kid that in that term I wasn’t able to request the refund of the payment. I was noticing that my kid wasn’t having any progress on the school I asking him hey when is going to be the evaluation I want a meeting he told me that we have to wait certain hours(which are the 3 month to not return the money) to make the evaluation that I wasn’t wrong my kid only make a progress of 6 point which the goal was to make a progress at least of 40 points after I start confronting him he use his self defense telling me that my kid need medication to make progress that by law he isn’t able to tell that. He told we need to stop the progress until the medication is on him. He promise that my kid will be in the level he was supposed to be before the ending of the year and that was never true because y kid never got the progress that he need it. Now I’m asking for the refund and he is denied to making that because of his terms after all of what he do. I have that on my credit my kid never finish the process because ho is going to send a kid in a place when they want medicate the kid that way they can help him.
