My son has been attending Almondale Academy for a little over a year now, and it’s been a wonderful experience so far. The campus itself has lots of open space for the kids to play and explore. There are even visiting peacocks and chickens that roam around. My son always comes home with little treasures he's found — feathers, rocks, sticks — and proudly adds them to his growing collection in his room. It’s like a mini adventure every day.

What I love most about Almondale is the peaceful, serene atmosphere. It’s such a great place for kids to learn and grow without the distractions of a busy, crowded environment. The small class sizes mean that the teachers really get to know each child personally. They don’t just care about the kids’ academics but also about their well-being and personal growth. My son was quite introverted when he first started, but in this nurturing environment, he’s really come out of his shell and is thriving now.
The teachers are amazing. They are attentive, patient, and genuinely care about each student. I can see the positive impact they’ve had on my son, and I’m so grateful for the individual attention he gets. He’s not just another kid in a large classroom, which is something I really value.

Overall, I couldn’t be happier with our decision to send our son to Almondale Academy. It’s been such a positive experience for our family, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a warm, supportive school community.

My children, age 8 and age 11, enjoyed Almondale Academy’s student-centered summer camps. This was our first time at Almondale and my children attended full days for about six weeks this summer. We have attended more structured summer school programs in the past, but my children enjoy having more autonomy during the summer months, since they don’t get that as much during the school year.

I love that the teachers will work to structure the camp according to the kids’ interests. For example, there may be a cooking week or a fort building week during summer camp at Almondale. The morning is usually focused on that week’s theme, but the afternoon is the students’ choice whether that is playing with Lego, playing games, drawing, or water play. It was the perfect balance for my kids.

More importantly, though, the best quality about Almondale are the teachers. They are all very kind and spend the extra time to really get to know your child. They were also wonderful about keeping me informed about the needs of my children. Not all schools are that attentive and caring. I am so glad we attended Almondale Academy this summer and we look forward to attending in the future.

Somewhat disappointed in their summer camp. They claim to have special camp types like art and theater but it functions more like a daycare with minimal rigor in the artistic arena. Considering the cost, I expected more. Better for children under 10 who are more interested in play time than for older kids who are more serious about developing a skill.
