Horrible education system for a private school. I called to ask a simple question regarding their IV certification.

First time I called, was told I would receive a call back. I never received a call, so I called the next day to follow up on my question, still could not get an answer.

SJVC people are not trained correctly to answer simple questions. For the amount of money this school charges for their programs they should be able to call back and have answers.

Horrible staff and poorly managed electrical department. The only redeeming factor they have going is the instructors. Great instructors and they take their time teaching you. The school makes you pay full price for a hardcover book but then give you a digital one that you can’t use after school is done. They don’t let you know you’re in danger of getting dropped from the school until you’re actually dropped. At that point they can squeeze as much money as they can. They’re not clear whatsoever on how attendance and graduation requirements work. They promise you that career services will help you find a job after school but the only calls you get from them is that they hired someone new every other week.

I was kind of skeptical going to another private college because I had a bad experience at a previous one. I completed the electrician program & I loved the hands on stuff we did everyday. Shoutout to Mr. O for being a good teacher & showing us real life scenarios in class. Every person here was nice shoutout to Cynthia the financial service advisor for explaining to me in detail about my future payments. Overall , the rancho mirage campus is great for the electrician program I had fun in class, & I can really say I learned a lot. Great 10 months here

Miss Cynthia was very helpful with all the financial aid assistance. She explained everything very good and in detail. She also explained very well to my mother. Recommend her to anyone who needs help with their financial aid.

This is for the HVAC program. If you want to go into HVAC then I would recommend this program for one reason. Mr. K . Mr.K cares so much about his students and is an excellent teacher. I remember I was having trouble understanding super heat and sub cooling and Mr K spent like 5 hours of 1 on 1 time making sure I fully understood the concept. If you’re reading this in the future make sure Mr k is still working there. Another thing when I was there Mr. P was teaching there and he was just as good but he’s teaching somewhere else now. So ya it’s a good program

My experience at SJVC has been wonderful even more since I met the best Ms.Karla. She has always been so supportive and helpful with me.I never thought I would see myself doing more things that I never thought I could do and learn so much in these past months and enjoy what I’m studying at SJVC. Ms Karla I know you’ll probably run into this reading these and I wanna say thank you so much for being so patient with us and for going out your way to teach me more about pharmacy book wise and how it is in the real world. Also for making me feel comfortable and confident throughout the whole program.

The lovely Kristine is incredible help at SJVC! I feel so weird telling her “thank you” every second I meet with her. But, she’s genuinely a sweet help to everyone wanting to enroll into the academy.Well informative on the new RN program. Patient and willing to listen to all questions and needs. Graciously kind enough to go the extra mile for anyone. I am so grateful to have met her as a counselor. I honestly was convinced SJVC was the nursing school for me, the moment I had my first chat with her. She’s dedicated, motivating, and so, so compassionate. Thank you Kristine (again)!
