This is a nice place to visit just right outside yosemite south entrance. We decided to go here instead of waiting a hour in the line of south entrance. It has 2 waterfalls. One is about 2 miles down trail. It is a small waterfall but the trail is pretty easy and had nice creek views along the way. There is a small creek crossing and a downed small bridge but it isn't too difficult to cross for most people. The second is right below the entrance. It is a much taller waterfall but it has a very steep trail so it can be very difficult for some people. It's a really short trail but steep coming back up.

Absolutely loved this trail! First time visiting here and I highly enjoyed myself. This trail is about an hour and a half drive from Fresno, located around Oakhurst. Didn’t expect it to be thriving with a lot of life during this heat and time. Ended up seeing tons of ladybugs, alligator lizards, and one cool Chicken-of-the-Woods mushroom. Waterfalls were pretty, with fun and risky bridges to cross. Hike took us about 2 1/2 hours from parking lot to the end and back. Downside was the litter and doggy bags people left behind, please pick up after yourself. ? Otherwise, come ready to get your shoes dirty and do some elevation hiking! 🙂

We didn't have a Yosemite reservation so had to wait until 4pm. Until then we needed to spend quality time in many places and this is one of them. An excellent place. Moderate hike, easy walk. For a fit person, it is moderate exercise to reach to the waterfall area as there are big rocks and the path is not easy.

Heavily used tourist trail, with everyone cutting switchbacks making it difficult to follow the main trail. Tons of trash at the falls, that we stayed and collected. Degenerates love to carve their names into the new wood platform and the log at the waterfall. You'll also get to enjoy all the piss toiletpaper that litters the trail along the way. I didn't think such things weren't common sense.

We went to both Corlieu and Red Falls. My 5 year old daughter had no issue with the trails, with some assistance from me of course. I would say this is on the easy side of intermediate.

There are a couple washouts to navigate thru but other hikers have moved dirt and strategically placed logs as a bypass. I would not bring great grandma here for a leisurely stroll, but any able bodied person should be able to navigate thru with a little caution and alot of awareness.

Would recommend and we will return.

Beautiful with multiple trails. We love the gorgeous scenery. We finally found the waterfall and enjoyed it so much. We also played by the river. It was amazing to take the kids. Our dog got to experience snow for the first time. If you want to see the waterfall. Such fun hiking and make sure you take lots of pictures! ?

This is my second time hiking this trail. The waterfalls and foliage are so beautiful. The trail has little paths off of it that are more difficult, but worth the trek down towards the water. Some people had their dogs with them. It was pretty busy on July 4th. We parked below the parking lot because it was full. We were able to just walk up to the trailhead from there. We could have gone farther along the trail but were happy with the hike. I highly recommend this trail!
