I love that I found a place where you can learn how to do almost any hobby. I am new to ceramics and fused glass and had such a great time! I now feel comfortable trying them both on my own. I am going to try out wood turning on a lathe and either glass blowing or ornamental welding next ‍♀️ so many choices!

I wish the glass blowing class had been more hands-on. I'll watch for more indepth classes. Nice people, some amazing machines. I was especially impressed with the CNC Plasma Cutter. The price to join isn't especially high if you consider what's available to you, $95.00 per month, plus some crafts require a fee, ie: kiln firing ceramics. They offer woodworking, fiber crafts, metal working, glass blowing, glass fusing, ceramics, jewelry, metal casting, 3D printing, more than I can remember. They also offer a deal to volunteers if the join fee is more than you can afford, or you just love the vibe of the place and want to be involved.

This was our second visit. First time was at the original location by the Airport. (Long ago 2014) KT gave us a tour. What a great personality she has.
We are so impressed and excited as our son & Dil just moved to The area and plan to sign up for classes and more! Thank you.

A friend told me about the curious forge, so I went up and saw their shop. Awesome place with friendly people and a great array of tools to work with. So awesome in fact that I brought my kids back the next day to check it out for themselves (when I say kids I mean 20 somethings). After that I signed up for their orientation and became a member it's a great place with great tools I look forward to exploring my many interests there with others from the area.

A Great place to work and learn at the same time.
Unlike with the usual creative projects there's no need to plan a lot of the future - You can start an idea not knowing where it will end as there's no barriers between skills and equipment. Apart from learning how to use tools that are new to you safely, an environment exists where making friends with others who can exchange tips, skills and artifacts to complete the ideas.
It seems to me that it's focus is upon authentic open ended creativity based on building one's own ideas. All of this whilst building a community of friends and Cocreators.
I'm particularly interested in checking out the sewing section - I think there's a lot that can be done using new fabric like materials in building construction and I'm wanting to look deeper into these skills (which I don't have yet).

An encouraging place for any age to learn and in an environment that will allow the individual to create a personalized design system for the future, gaining skills, purpose and livelihood - 3 key foundations for creating in the 21st Century.
A way to move through artifact production into actually new creations rather than getting bogged down in concepts.
This, along with the huge array of tools and all sorts of resources creates a great environment for real collaboration problem solving on a practical basis and the possibility of arising new ideas; beyond the limitations of what was imagined at the beginning of the process.
It's a place where Art, Craft, Design and Novelty come together.
Worth trying it out for yourself, friends and family.
A great place for your children to gain the confidence of being able to produce and provide in the future.
