I went to apply for my son since it is open enrollment right now. I wanted to enroll him in the Early Head Start Program or CDE. The receptionist in the front (Angelica) denied me the right to even get an application. She said they were too busy to give me an application. She said she would give me a phone call when they were not too busy to give me an application. I told her it was my only day off for two weeks, and it would be very hard for me to come back. Angelica told me that it took too long to photo copy an application and the person who made photo copies was not there. I was referred to them by another company. That company told me to speak to Elizabeth. Angelica told me that Elizabeth was in the office but was too busy to speak with me.

I was the only one in the office at the time. I thought that everyone had the right to apply to government programs. How can she take that right away from me and deny my child access to government funded programs? Someone needs to talk to this center. I am still waiting on the phone call for the application. I'm sure that by the time she calls me (or if she calls me at all) open enrollment will be over. How long does it take to make a photo copy. If she cannot make a photo copy, then she is not qualified to be a receptionist and they should hire someone who can photo copy and give out applications.

I remember taking my son here and he would beg me not to leave him. One day I decided to stay for a little bit to observe, I witnessed a child being told he was disgusting for having potty accident instead of being told it would be ok, another child being shoved with a foot. That’s the day I decided I would take him out early and never take him back. Please listen to your children even when you may think there’s nothing wrong.

My son has been attending Allred Children's Center just about a year now, he is in the the purple room. His teacher Ms.Rahemutlla is an awesome teacher? her aides and everyone in the office and cafeteria are awesome people as well they are very kind respectful understanding and very helpful.? I have never had a complaint or concerned with the school I will recommend this center to anyone, keep up the good work?

I usually don't have a problem with the staff setting appointments of making payments because the staff is usually helpful. But since I've been dealing with Dorothy, I've been getting nothing but the run around and a rude attitude!
