This was a great trip to this ranger station. The staff was very knowledgeable. I got an adventure pass x2,$35? for two. Picked up a map ?️that Mark's local trails and trails that eat permits. ?So I don't have to question about that anymore. Information that wasn't available online in case you're wondering lol.? Google site needs to be updated... This ranger station is only open on Saturday and Sunday. Not Friday. I showed up Friday and found out that they were closed. ?

It's fine to be closed Monday thru Friday but if you're going to lock up your outdoor bathrooms can you at least bring in a porta potty for midweek visitors? The Green Spot doesn't let people use their bathroom but they say, "There's a bathroom you can use at the ranger station!"

The staff here is very knowledgeable of the San Bernardino National Forest. They are super friendly, too. If you stop during their business hours, they have a restroom you can use.

Good place to stop on the way to big bear. You can learn some nest things from the visitors center. If your mountain travels require you to have any passes or permits, you can stop here to get all those things.

Get your day pass, go for a hike, gather important information for your day out, and the bathroom is only open during the 10-5! hours. Not always.
