We’ve had such a great experience with this location and have seen improvement in our daughter’s reading and comprehension while she has been here. Ms. Nancy is our daughter’s favorite person here, but everyone is so nice and welcoming in the center. She truly enjoys going to tutoring because of every staff member that interacts with her in such a positive way. Brian is such an intelligent and compassionate person to speak to during our progress report meetings, you can tell how passionate he is about helping the kids at the center. Sachin is also very attentive to our needs and flexibility and has great insight to share. Thank you Sylvan team for the amazing work you all do for our chicken, we appreciate you!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Sylvan Manteca/Ripon!! I was concerned my 9 year old had a learning disability. We had held her back a grade and even began homeschooling in fear she was falling through the cracks and in 3rd grade didn't even have a firm grip on basic addition. We visited and interviewed a number of tutoring services and the others felt impersonal or like their purpose was to get the student as far beyond their grade level as possible. That wouldn't help my daughter, she was struggling with the fundamentals!
Meeting with the director, Sachin, immediately put my mind at ease. He assured me of Sylvan's confidence in their program and that they were accustomed to dealing with children with focus and comprehension issues like my daughter. In addition, the facility looks more like a children's section in a library- colorful, comfortable and inviting- as opposed to the college classroom I had seen in other facilities, cold and bland with rows and rows of desks so they could fit as many kids in as possible.
My daughter started out overwhelmed and fearful; she hates school because it was so confusing and overwhelming. Now she leaps out of the car and confidently walks in, as do nearly all of the other students. She really enjoys her primary instructor, Ava, and most of the staff know each of the students names and greet them when they enter. They break off into groups of no more than 3 students per instructor and work on their own, personalized, lesson plan- NOT a one-size fits all.
Sylvan is incredibly flexible and understands that we have jobs, lives and additional children to navigate and Miriam ensures all scheduling, billing, meetings (and so much more I'm sure) are current and up to date. She is an excellent communicator.

My daughter went from absolutely hating math to randomly sharing math facts with her little sister, which absolutely warms my heart. But the biggest sign that Sylvan works was her grade improvement throughout the year: from "Needs Work" to "Satisfactory"

The teachers are very knowledgeable and patient. My son has a mild form of autism and has made great progress in his reading. We only planed on tutoring during the summer but with his progress and his enjoyment of going we continue tutoring all year long. Everyone at Sylvan has my sons best interest at heart. And continue to encourage my son to be his best.

My son has been attending Sylvan for 3 months and came up a full grade level in his reading/English/comprehension skills. Sylvan has proven itself a great resource for my son, who just needs a little extra help to catch up and keep up with his grade level.

While he occasionally complains about the extra learning time (which he'd rather use playing Minecraft), once he gets settled in at Sylvan, the teacher keeps him engaged. He is naturally shy, but has become very comfortable with the teachers and staff.

Sylvan learning Manteca has been a life saver for me. My daughter started Manteca school district for about 3 months ago and right after I could tell she was feeling overwhelmed with the math homework in particular. I enrolled her in Math Essentials program at Sylvan learning. She has been attending Sylvan for about 2 months. As a parent I noticed that her math skills have improved a lot. She is more confident and work independently. They have tailored program that fits your child's need. I m glad that I found this place.
I am already looking forward to enroll my 8th grader here to have him learn more advance skills, so that he is fully prepared for high school math & science.. highly highly recommend this place.Thank you Sylvan learning ?

We recently moved here from the Bay Area. It was hard finding supplemental education classes in the area. I’m so glad we found Sylvan Learning. He focused on reading and writing. After the monthly check-in reports and analyzing his work, I realized so many basic reading and writing techniques I assumed he learned in school weren’t actually taught at school. Sylvan found those weak areas, targeted them, and gave him the knowledge to excel in school. He went from B’s and C’s to straight A’s in a year.

Sylvan’ s flexible with scheduling. We’d have the set schedule, but if one of us had to travel for work and couldn’t bring him in, Sylvan accommodated our schedule. There’s also a zoom option. This especially came in handy when he wasn’t feeling too good or had Covid. The groups consist of three students in an hour long class. Our son enjoyed taking classes at Sylvan, sometimes he’d come home with prizes for doing such a good job. The staff is friendly, caring, and knowledgeable. This place is highly recommended as they fill in the educational gaps and then some from the school system.

Sylvan has been a great place for our sons. We enrolled our older two boys in the summer program, and I'm so glad we did! They have learned so much and have strengthened their math skills. The staff and the teachers are all wonderful! They also have great communication! I would highly recommend Sylvan!

My daughter was struggling in school and was on track to be held back this year.After the 4th session at Sylvan we noticed a huge difference. I'm so happy with Sylvan,not only were we told she's going to the next grade but she got an award last week for her scores on the map testing at school. I recommend Sylvan to everyone.
