On Course Workshops are simply second-to-none. If you are a teacher/instructor/professor of students (in any subject/discipline/content) then participating in an On Course Workshop is vital. As a participant you are engaged in learning strategies and structures to use with your students (and faculty if you are a professional development coordinator/facilitator for your campus) that will promote learning and engagement. Not only do participants learn how to help students become more successful, participants learn important lessons and reflect on their own teaching. On Course Workshops are powerful professional development that will leave you engaged, energized, and sometimes exhausted (in a good way). There are workshops held at various retreat centers (near San Francisco, CA and near Maryland) or on your own college campus. If you are an administrator, don't hesitate to send faculty to a workshop or better yet, bring the fabulous facilitators to your campus. Five stars are not enough for the On Course Workshops.
