We had such a wonderful trip here! Everything was absolutely amazing. Staff were so helpful and awesome! Gentleman at front named Bruce at the front desk was extremely helpful, professional and nice. When checking in during a snow storm, could not have had a better experience! Shout out to all the staff at Tamarack Lodge- Bruce, David, Donald, Michael, Brian, Moragh, Aldo, Jeff, and Leo! Thanks guys for giving me and my family a wonderful stay there! Will be going back for sure!!

The staff was so nice! The cabin is very old but so cozy. I would definitely recommend this spot if you like history and being in mature. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Our room was a bit cold even with the heater on, so they provided a space heater. Then, I started getting a massive headache one of the nights and the staff ran up to our room to bring me some ibuprofen. Every day they asked how we were doing and to let them know if we need anything. I will definitely be coming back!

Over the past several years, my husband and I have enjoyed libations and live music at Tamarack Lodge and fine dining at Lakefront Restaurant as well as hikes around Twin Lakes and cross country skiing….but we hadn’t had the pleasure of enjoying Tamarack as resort guests until this past weekend. So glad I made an old-school in-person visit to make inquiries about lodging! When I shared that I was hoping to plan a surprise overnight cabin stay for my husband’s birthday, Brian was very attentive, outlining all options available and patiently answering all of my questions. Luckily, Brian was able to immediately secure the accommodations we wanted on the date we needed. To say my husband was pleasantly surprised is an understatement! Brian and the Tamarack Lodge staff made our first stay an exceptionally memorable one! Pictures say more than words, so I posted the maximum allowable (and wanted to post at least 10 more scenics!) We look forward to enjoying more classic lakeside retreats at Tamarack, hoping to celebrate all four seasons with family and friends at this haven for years to come.

The charming cabins at the lodge are worth every penny....relax by the fireplace after a day of hiking. The location is stunning overlooking Twin Lakes and close enough to town to make it an easy drive to pick up your morning coffee (if you don't have it at the lodge) or dinner at one of the restaurants in town (if you don't have it at the lodge!) The beds are comfortable, the cabins are private and well stocked with everything you might need. I can't wait to go back again!!

Tamarack Lodge was so cozy and such a scenic location. We really enjoyed the room and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location at Twin Lakes was perfect and very convenient to drive into Mammoth. There's activities like bike riding and great trails near the lodge. Breakfast was good and their lunch and dinner were great.

Joined up with family at the Tamarack Lodge- just in time for the latest snow storm !! Our lodging was spectacular in Cabin #5, a house essentially- with great room service from the main lodge.|Hats off to Bruce, David, Donald, Michael, Brian, Moragh, Aldo, Jeff and Leo for giving us their attention to detail ! Serene, beautiful and peaceful w/ an amazing staff running the place, Tamarak Lodge is unmatched in places to stay. Have to give a big shout out to Micheal at the front desk who was an enthusiastic help in making us feel at home, as well as assisting in places to see in the surrounding area. Michael at one point pulled over in his car in the lot (on his break) and helped us find our way to a trail. Maura (spelled differently) was also extremely friendly and helpful. What a place ! WOW great job Tamarak Lodge for hiring such great people

We didn't stay at the resort. This review is for the Kayak& Bike Rental section next door. The staff was pleasant, kind, and patient. It was an all female team when I rented the kayaks and bikes. I was so proud to be a woman when I witnessed their efficient operation!!
