Tungsten Prep provides highly qualified professionals for tutoring. I've used them for the past two years for middle school tutoring and will use them again for high school tutoring. Your child will be matched according to their needs and virtual sessions is also an option.

Two weeks before a year-end final exam, our child decided they wanted a tutor to help them prepare. Despite the late notice, Sheena found us a tutor (Carol) the same day we reached out and they were prepared to start the next day! Our child really liked working on math with Carol and while our child was initially hesitant about tutoring, they quickly saw the value in working with Carol and asked to meet her every day leading up to the exam (even wanted a double session the day before the exam). Carol’s style of interacting with our child and teaching them was very effective. They went into the exam well prepared and with a lot of confidence. We are very grateful and will be back again next school year!

Our experience with Tungsten Prep was fantastic. I highly recommend Tungsten Prep. The staff and tutors are incredibly professional, knowledgeable, personal and responsive. The company's principals all show a high degree of compassion and individualized interest in their students -- neither our daughter or we as parents ever felt that we were just another family cycling in and out of a tutoring/test prep business. Equally importantly, our daughter benefited tremendously in terms of her academic success and in increasing her test scores significantly on the ACT -- and I give special kudos to her tutors for coaching her in the test-taking process and strategies. I loved the time I spent with Tungsten Prep. I specialized with one student in particular, just by nature of my schedule, but I formed a tremendous bond with the student and the family. I worked closely with the family to identify what they wanted me to focus on, and in working with the student, I noticed a tremendous improvement not only in the student's view of schooling, but also the ways in which they would approach school. It was this one-on-one that Tungsten provides that really helped the student grow, and I am so glad I got to see that and be a part of it! The family also made me feel like one of them, and I truly appreciated the relationships I built with them. Tungsten is definitely memorable not just for the close relationships, but how you can see students excel and grow!

Tungsten Prep is an outstanding company - I cannot recommend them highly enough. From the initial intake to the quality staff to the ongoing management of clients, Tungsten Prep goes above and beyond any other tutoring/educational company I have ever worked with for educational needs. We have used Tungsten Prep for tutoring and SAT prep. The tutoring has been for advanced high school classes and also middle school classes and in all cases the tutors were highly knowledgable about the subjects and simply good teachers. The SAT prep is one on one and perfect for my son in terms of mastering the material. We used Tungsten Prep's tutoring services for our teen's SAT test in 2019 and her score dramatically improved. More importantly, so did her confidence level leading up to the test. Our teen was matched with a tutor who took the time to really understand the origins of her testing insecurities and address them. I am very grateful for Tungsten Prep. During the summer after my junior year of high school, Sarah and Rachel helped me study and prepare for the ACT. I only took the test once since I performed very well my first time. Sarah and Rachel were amazing! Because of them, I was able to get a great ACT score which is one of the reasons why I was able to get accepted into top universities.
