Don’t listen to the bad reviews about this place. It’s not the hotel’s fault you didn’t research more before booking. We stayed in the older part of the place and it was wonderful! Shared bathrooms, showers, room, and the whole location was clean. Comfy bed, very well kept. You can tell a lot of care and work went into the upkeep. The town is so cute! We enjoyed our stay very much. Only thing I would have changed was the drippy faucet in our room 😉

5 stars all around. Dow Villa was really nice and clean, and the people working there were super friendly.

They even went above and beyond for me by shipping back my boots after I accidentally left them there after hiking Whitney. I am super appreciative. These people just fundamentally care, and are good people. This standard of care just reflects in how nice their hotel is. Thanks again Dow Villa.

An excellent affordable historic hotel. We needed a place to overnight after a backpacking trip and this place was perfect. Clean, modest rooms (cheaper rooms have shared toilets and showers), a great pool and hot tub with mountain views, and friendly, helpful, professional staff. We are quite smell sensitive and happy to report there were no strong smells at all - no smoke, no funk, no strong cleaner. Highly recommended!

Fantastic hotel. Friendly and accommodating staff, clean, nice smelling rooms and a hot tub. The option to check out at 12pm is great to make the most out of your visit.

So glad we picked this place on the fly! Our double queen room was large with a huge TV and a view of the Mountains. We did elect to stay on the side with a private bath. Hotel is right in town with food options walkable. The pool is open 24 hours, and the common areas (and room) are clean and kitschy. Staff was all very welcoming. And after traveling in 100+ temps for a few days, a filtered water bottle fill was an awesome bonus. Great night sleep!

Wow! There was a live, healthy plant waiting for me in my room. And a built-in reading lamp. The bed was great. Everything clean. And, in the morning, an amazing view of the mountains in the early light from my doorstep.

Had a nice, relaxing stay here after a Mt Whitney summit. Price, location, and service were great for my group. Right across the street from one of the best places to eat in Lone Pine.

They actually went above and beyond when helping recover an item we left behind. Thank you!

I've stayed in almost every hotel in Lone Pine, and this is the best by far! The rooms are updated and really clean. The pool and jacuzzi are heavenly, and it's located across the street from the Pizza Port and the Alabama Hills Cafe. Make your reservations early because this place fills up fast. I love the Dow Villa!
