I have recently started working with NACA and I am so excited to start my home buying journey with them! My counselor, Kimberly, has been so helpful and friendly throughout the start of my process. Additionally, my Mom obtained her current home through NACA so I’ve seen how much good NACA can do!

Because of NACA, buying a home no longer feels like a distant dream and actually seems attainable. I look forward to continuing to work with my counselor to move towards being a homebuyer!

Since becoming a mother I have wanted to provide my child with a place that she can call her home and with the help of the NACA program, my counselor Latasha Augustine I am working towards that goal. Even though there is a lot of paperwork to gather my counselor has been very helpful throughout the entire process and always willing to answer any questions that come up. After meeting with my counselor for the first time I truly understood why people have recommended the NACA program. This program wants to help the people that most banks will not help, and it makes you feel like they want you to accomplish your dreams of owning a home. I look forward to the work that still needs to be done, but I know it will get done because I have a great support system with my counselor and the entire NACA program behind me.

My wife and I joined NACA because we knew next to nothing about buying a house and knew we could easily get taken advantage of by greedy Real Estate Agents. Between the informational sessions, one-on-one counseling, and online information we have learned a lot and it has helped us better understand how much there is to know and account for when making such a huge financial decision. Be prepared to do a lot of work, but know that you will be standing on solid ground once you have.

As an applicant for a month and a half now I’ve had a very pleasant experience with NACA and my counselor. It’s been pretty straightforward as far as uploading docs, tax forms, balance sheets, etc. The process can take some time so it’s important to be hopeful and patient and provide as much information as possible. NACA has the most competitive loan product with the current market conditions so definitely worth the time to check out and apply. Excited for the approval process and purchasing my first home. NACA has been a great resource in my journey toward homeownership. The intake staff made me feel comfortable right from the start, and they’ve been responsive and organized throughout the process.

I’m still working through the steps, but my mortgage counselor has been a key part of making this experience positive. They’ve provided clear information and have been supportive at every stage so far, making sure I understand what's ahead.
