Best Cirrus Training Center hands down. I tried Palomar Aviation and BRB Aviation to try and learn to fly in a Cirrus and never felt like I clicked and felt their instructors just want to rush to get to the Airlines. I drive 2 hours to Calair it just tells you how good of a training is run at Calair by Johnathan the Owner which is really hands on and always available. Marko at Calair is THE BEST Instructor and best of all he became a good friend. I clicked right away and kist having a blast. State of the Art G6 SR20 in their fleet so we get to fly all new planes. Definitely recommend Calair 1000%

Absolutely fantastic! So glad I found the school after trying a different place at Van Nuys. Hawthorne is such a nice airport; last week I was #1 in the pattern 5x in a row. Take that KVNY. But most importantly, they paired me with the best CFI that I could have asked for - Marko makes the sessions super fun and just gets me, sets up an efficient training plan and helps me build confidence. Talked to several local schools about my interest in getting my PPL. Most schools were very pushy in trying to sell me something and get me locked in. My friend told me to give this place a call and I ended up talking to a CFI named Marko. He was very friendly, took almost 40 minutes to walk me through exactly what it would take, the cost and the timeline. He was very honest and I could tell he had my best interest at heart rather than trying to just sign up another student. Once I’m ready to train, this will be the place I will train at.
