I have known Michael Julian for about 18 years now. I have taken training from him in different areas but, I have taken the A.L.I.V.E. Active Shooter Survival class several times, mostly for refresher. However everytime I have felt, as Michael does, that everyone needs to know this. How better than to teach it myself, along with a cadre of other instructors Michael has trained. I finally took the Instructor course and have spoken to many about the method of A.L.I.V.E..

I very highly recommend that everyone take some time and take this lifesaving training. You too may find that this is so important that you'll want to pass it on to your family and friends. Michael and his Instructor Core are the best.

During my active-duty years, I was a certified tactical instructor for both the U.S. Secret Service and the Drug Enforcement Agency. I have recently become a certified A.L.I.V.E. instructor. Since that certification, I have given numerous presentations about the program, teaching security guards, educators, and private companies. I have attended a lot of training in my career and consider the ALIVE program to be exemplary and a necessary skill set for anyone to raise awareness and preparation in the event of an active shooter situation.
