I have got to IOT for almost 15 months for the criminology program, next week is my last week. I would recommend this school to my friends, between the staff and students it is an amazing environment. I have grown as a person and in my knowledge at this school. It is very hands on and getting you ready for the career path you are going on. When you are going through some of the toughest time they will accommodate and help you as much as possible. Laura is someone I have talked to a lot. She is the person when you going through something and just need to talk she will listen. She also gives the best advice. She even helped me figure out a schedule to fit homework in when I was working 2 jobs, going to school, and personal stuff.

Had a very good experience at IOT’s LVN program. The instructors were efficient and provided us with all the tools I needed to succeed. The program will require you to be flexible at times, just like nursing will. Studying is not an option if you want to succeed. Kathy, the DON, has a zero tolerance for any drama or disrespect. Sad that needs to be monitored for adults but necessary for some. If you put your head down and put in the work and time you will succeed. Autumn was my favorite instructor bringing lots of her nursing experience and knowledge to the classroom. She had very realistic expectations for us as students and future nurses. They set the standard high and will hold you to that. And you should set the standard high for yourself as well as you enter the nursing world.

I am very happy to say this was one of the best decisions I made, although I was not so sure about what I wanted to do this was a great place to start. The staff made everything very simple and I always felt I had their support when it came to financial questions or just questions in general. I was part of the MBOA program and now that I am actually in the field I love what I do. I couldn’t have done it without my instructor, she was there for every step of the way, motivated me to do my best and pushed me because she knew I could do it. Even after I completed my course the school continues to support their students whether it comes to update resumes or look for jobs.

Amazing school . Been at my career 16 years and counting. Maria V has been amazing with any questions or records request. She responds promptly and is very friendly. Overall staff and teachers are great, quick placement for jobs after grad!

IOT Modesto is a great school. After not being in a class room for over 10 years It was a great way to get a certificate in a growing job market in under a year. I recommend seeing the place in person to get a feel of the campus. My instructor Ms. Nafisa was very kind and helpful. She was always available to us during office hours to make sure we understood the curriculum. Ms. Laura is also very helpful in making sure we have the resources we need while attending school. In general all the staff was kind and helpful. They did their best to host interactive events for the students and families as well which I thought was very sweet of them.

I was a student in the vocational nursing program in 2020. We had a lot of challenges because of Covid but the school and the teachers made every effort to help us. It was the middle of our second term when we got a new theory instructor Autumn. Even though we were her first class she worked with us to help us through our hard times. She was always there when we asked for help. She pushed us to do our best. Though she was strict she was kind hearted and didn’t want to see everyone left behind. I was working during this time I would get around two ours if sleep sometimes. Even through I was tired and drained I pushed through. Cathy was out DON at the time and she knew some of my life issues I was facing while in school. Cathy and Autumn keep encouraging me and pushing me to stay on tract. I would recommend this program to everyone who would want to pursue nursing.

My time at IOT has been the best! Especially with Ms. Laura , Im glad I had the chance to have her as my professional development teacher as she really takes the time to understand and care for her students. She has a very good heart and will help anyone who needs it!

My experience at IOT has been Amazing!! I chose the Medical Billing Office Administration (MBOA) class that they had to offer and let me tell you it’s been a pleasure to learn from the Instructor!! I feel like I learned a lot and the instructor sets you up to succeed!! I took what I learned from her and applied it to my externship and everything I learned while in her class played a role in the medical office. I’m now going to graduate and I can honestly say I’m so HAPPY I chose this course! I would HIGHLY recommend MBOA at IOT to anyone wanting to be a part of the medical field working in an office 9-5 or anyone looking to change career paths then this can possibly be a good fit for you!!
