I wish I had great things to say but I can't seem to get a response from the director. My kids took the free assessment and when I went to review the results, the director (Daniel R) informed me that the instructor did not properly administer the math test so there were no results and that we would need to re-take. As frustrating as this was, I knew that it was not his fault (Note: my child told me that the woman who administered the test was giving her the answers). He assured me that he would administer the next test personally and I agreed to come back in the following week after school was dismissed. I return with my child and there is no one at the center. I knocked and called. I left a voicemail and then when I get back home I sent an email. My call was returned shortly thereafter letting me know that she stepped away to find food and that I could come back AGAIN. I asked for the director since he was the person who assured me that he would administer this test but he had not been at the center the whole day and did not let the lady know that he would be the one responsible for testing my child. I did not return, but instead waited until the next week to speak with him but I was greeted by a different director who said that she would relay my message and that I could expect a return call very soon. It is now a full week later and there has been no follow-up. Disappointed is an understatement. I feel as though my time was completely wasted and my daughter sat through over an hour of something that yielded zero results in return

Our son just started going here about 7 weeks ago, and we can already see improvements in him. What we cherish about Sylvan is the fact that they were able to take him in at such a young age(4 years old), and customize his lesson plans to meet him at his current level. He absolutely loves going there, hence we would highly recommend it to parents looking to get their children started early or to give their children an edge.

My daughter has been going to Sylvan for two months now. She loves the teachers and they love her. I can see a great improvement in her confidence and willingness to read. She is doing much better at school and we are still striving to get her to that next level.

My son has been with Sylvan since Nov 22 and he absolutely loves it. For an 8 year old to be excited about going to tutoring…that should be enough. They have been very nice and genuinely care about helping my kid get a better understanding and progress his ability to learn and catch on.

I am so impressed with my daughters progress, especially in math. She's been attending for a month and has already learned so much. She is always excited to go and says she loves all the teachers. They have showed her different ways of learning certain math problems that she has always struggled with and have made it easy for her to understand. The director (Stormy) is an amazing person, she is very understanding and accommodating. They truly want to help your child and I'm so happy that we chose to enroll our daughter because it has really boosted her confidence in many areas. Definitely worth every penny and recommend if your child is struggling. Thanks guys! Great job!!

We recently switched from Kumon to Sylvan back in August and already we have seen my sons reading level improve 3 grade levels. This center has been such a blessing. They are patient and really get kids motivated to learn. I HIGHLY recommend Sylvan if your kid is struggling with any subject in school. It's a little pricey but man is it worth it!!!
