We've used Huntington on Preston/Forest for over 2 years. Jonathan and Dennis have made my child not only a success in math and science but also instilled a love of learning, strong work ethic, and self confidence!

When my daughter was in second grade her teachers were determined she was not prepared to promote to 3rd grade. My husband was adamant that she had what it takes to learn and not be held back. We found Huntington’s that summer and they put her on a 96 hour program to be completed over summer with a promise that she would finish at a 4th grade level! We were faithful to go all summer long and she finished her tutoring program at a 5th grade level. She was at a 1st grade level when we began! She has excelled academically since then! She is now a Junior and in honors classes and graduating in the top percentage of her class! We are currently excited to be using them for SAT prep and are expectant for them to help give our girl tools that will once again help her achieve her goals! We are biased to this location!!

I had a great experience with Huntington. We had my son evaluated in all subjects during his sophomore year in high school. The results were very thorough, and the staff took time to go over all the results with both parents present in order to formulate a plan for improvement that we all agreed with. We were able to use Huntington's tutoring for math during the school year and then followed with an ACT prep course in the summer. The staff was pleasant and easy to work with concerning schedules. The tutors were extremely qualified and worked with my son on his homework, when needed, and not just on a routine syllabus. I appreciated the flexibility to cater to my son's needs. My son reached the goals he set for the ACT and is on his way to college. I have recommended Huntington to friends and think very highly of their interest in helping students to achieve their goals.

Overall,l I would recommend HLC to any parent. Especially those with a child who needs time and space fora personalized teaching. After my child and I adjusted back to face to face classes I noticed some behavioral changes. Once we got back to face to face classes it became obvious that she had some social and learning deficits she needed to overcome. My first task was to look for a reputable place. I went and spoke with the center coordinator after doing some calling around to some other centers. HLC was the first and the only I visited in person. What won me over initially was the fact that HLC has some fantastic educators. After just one summer she’s not only caught up to grade level but she’s ahead of others in her class. The biggest difference is in her grades, and social life at school.

From Anxious to Accomplished! Our son is a bright kid who found test taking to be a challenge. We wanted to find a place that could help him understand specifically what the standardized test questions were asking so that he could answer appropriately. Working with the professionals at Huntington, Ethan set a goal of raising his ACT score from 25 to 30. We were astounded when he received a 34 on his ACT test - an increase of NINE points. With a score like this, Ethan was able to enroll in the college of his choice with a full scholarship. This is truly a success story! Thank you, Huntington for giving our son life-long learning skills.

One of the best experiences I had with learning new material. Not only did they help with my homework in school (such as Math, English, and Science), they gave me additional practice to sharpen my skills and lay a foundation that benefited me to this day. They take the time and effort to explain material to children patiently. The staff WANT to see you succeed and not struggle. Their goal is to give you the tools for your child to be of aid in the future. Without their help, I wouldn't be where I am now. The classes I am taking in college are rigorous. However, Huntington has prepared me to use my time wisely, choosing a learning method that I feel comfortable with, and to always look on the positive side. No words can describe how grateful I am to the staff for supporting me through a journey that can change my perspective of learning.

Despite attending local private schools, I have had 3 children attend this program and have had their scores improve significantly because of this program. Their training in test taking and the focus on weak areas was the main benefit.
Lucy went above and beyond our expectations. They are experienced professionals who were able to identify weak areas and improve these to the benefit of the final scores.
Due to Lucy's mentorship my child made National Merit and this has opened a whole new world for us. Rene was very flexible and attentive with scheduling.
Despite the cost, this has definitely been money well spent.
