I’ve trained here for over a year and could not be more satisfied. The Training Center has a family feel and not intimidating like some other gyms. Coaches are the very best in the industry.

My son attends the youth jiu-jitsu classes here at 4 p.m. Mondays through Wednesdays. My son is having a blast, building confidence and skills and Chris Leben is such a wonderful youth mentor and coach. I found The Training Center when I attended a women's self defense workshop here. The Training Center is a great place to work out and build self confidence for people of all ages.

The Training Center is a Great Gym with some of the most talented coaches out there. Jordan does a fantastic job teaching Boxing and Kickboxing at 8am and 9am in the morning. Not only will you get a good workout from his classes but he will teach specific technique to your skill level and ability. Ivan is always there in the morning rolling and teaching though movement on the other mat. Its a great experience to get to learn from multiple master coaches at the same location.

The ability to go to classes 4pm-8pm and learn from Chris Leben or Master Baret Yoshida is priceless. If you want to level up, challenge yourself and make some new friends come by. Third floor above THE GYM.

This place is great! Coaches all care and pay attention to all levels. Very sanitary and I will be coming here when the school year starts. Very accessible to UCSD students, just off the trolley to San Ysidro if you leave from campus

The coaches and staff at this gym are extremely knowledgeable, supportive and easily the best overall in my experience at all combat gyms I’ve been to. If you’re a beginner, or advanced this is the place for you. The coaches are masters at what they do! Everyone is extremely friendly, it’s a great culture here.

The facility itself is big, very nice and new. Equipment is new and very high quality. Great location right off freeways. What more can you ask for

I transitioned over to The Training Center last October and I’ve really enjoyed my experience since day one. It had real fighters with real experience as coaches that put you through the well thought out classes at convenient times. Jordan Bailey at the 9am boxing class has brought my boxing skills to the next level with his attention to detail and motivation. He’s able to adjust the classes to all skill levels which is a valuable quality in a coach. Ivan Herrera at the 10am no-gi class brings his unique combination of jiujitsu and wrestling to the table which challenges student of all levels. These guys care about their students and our progress and martial artists and people and that is why I train at The Training Center.

i joined a few weeks ago and am so impressed with the coaching here- jordan is absolutely amazing and is able to seamlessly coach us all individually (and adjust to varying needs/levels) while still keeping the pace of the class, all within an hour. ivan is also an incredibly knowledgeable/experienced teacher and is super easy-going and patient with beginners like myself. love the environment and huge props to those guys for doing an epic job, you can tell they truly love it!
