My son completed an ACT prep course at Huntington. He found the course to be incredibly helpful. The diagnostic test determined his exact areas of need and the tutoring sessions were tailored to address these weaknesses. His ACT score went up 6 points and he still has one more ACT to take. He feels more prepared and confident when taking the ACT as a result of the course at Huntington. He also feels the skills he learned helped him and will help him on AP Exams. Colleges seem to be moving away from "test optional" for standardized tests and his improved score gives him more options and scholarship opportunities. For any student who wants to be successful on the ACT or SAT and is willing to attend the classes, it is well worth the investment.

I have tutored at Huntington Learning Center in Mentor for over two years now and very highly recommend the center first for students and secondly for educators. The teachers are all extremely skilled, patient, friendly and enthusiastic about helping students develop confidence and better skills for school. Many of the tutors are retired public school teachers who still have the need to help others and have tutored there for years. I feel the fact that they continue to teach after retirement shows what a great learning center Huntington is. There are also a number of younger tutors just starting their careers, so it's an amazing blend of many generations of educators.

The staff are simply extraordinary in every regard and help students and tutors alike. Bring your children to Huntington so that they can truly flourish in their development.

Wonderful experience!!
My daughter was struggling in school because school was virtual and she does much better face-to-face. This was causing her to lack confidence in her overall academic performance. Their one-on-one process is really amazing. She has been showing a great amount of improvement. I am very satisfied with the results. This has also boosted her academic confidence in all subjects. She looks forward to her weekly in center tutoring sessions. She always mention how friendly and kind the staff are to her. “Mrs. Ann and Mrs. Kim are the best!”

The staff is great and they always communicate with me regarding my son's progress. My son has made great improvement with his reading and math.

They also have a great ACT prep class that my older son used and he improved his ACT score 4 points.
