One of the representatives there was so rude. I called in at 8:20am this morning. Sat on hold for 54 mins, trying to find out if there is a way to get my 10 Digit account number for the UI Log in Portal to manage my Unemployment. I was perfectly calm. But I interrupted her 1 time and she started to outburst. I wasn’t trying to argue with her, I was also trying to tell her that I also have DISABILITIES WITH MY HEAD to where it makes it really hard to understand. She has a really bad attitude and transferred me out anger. I don’t know what her problem was, all I was trying to do was get my account number so that way I can manage it online. I was perfectly calm and MY MOTHER OVERHEARD to where she put her down for DISCRIMINATION. She sounded like she didn’t want to be there. I tried to contact a Supervisor that is INCHARGE of her. But the woman’s name I didn’t get because where I am the call goes in and out. Wavelengths for reception was bad. I only asked her to repeat one time and she did huff and puff like I was the problem. I have tried calling again and now I can’t open my account to figure out what do to file for REDUCED HOURS. she also interupted me 5XS and extremely disrespectful. All I wanted was a account number that was a 10 Digit number. I have tried calling her supervisor there was no answer. So far this was the worst experience. For the description of her voice: you can tell she was black BUT her English was not correct. She kept saying Ask but it would sound like axe. My experience with customers in the past: you can be red for your attitude. She had outbursts out anger at me for no reason and when she hung up by transferring me to someone else I WAS HURT. I was confused and HURT by her reaction. It has made not want trust to talk to a Rep and instead only talk to a supervisor. I live out in Yucca Valley, there is no unemployment office out here. ? so I can’t really go anywhere to where they made it so difficult just get unemployment for reduced hours… I feel discouraged and I’m in tears. I have never been treated this horrible… just though you guys who are SUPERVISORS should know. ?

The people are at this location seem to always be pleasant to talk to, but everything can be done online. You get the most (but not all) information from the website as well. Calling is a joke, you have to have patience and time like no other.

This comment is not about Indio EDD location. I am upset and angry about the process of Unemployment thru online as of today. IT IS NOT ACCEPTABLE my daughter had to wait and sit for 11 hours to get process with ID.me. I understand it's a process but 11 HOURS, REALLY!!!! What do you guys think we are to be seating 11 hours?. This is disappointing and once your in it's 7mins to get done with the call. REALLY?!?! You better pay the pain you cause her back n hip by sitting this long. Everyone reading this be AWARE!! It's RIDICULOUS!!!!!

You cannot apply for s.n.a.p (food stamps) in person anymore. You can pick up an application to fill out and send in the mail or you can do it faster online! You can still get help with resumes and there are job fairs and "we are hiring" posters everywhere.
