A lot of people don't know about this valuable resource.
They've got a wall where they post local jobs, there are computers you can use to peruse even more jobs, print applications, make copies of your work documents.
It's free to join, there are employees there to help any way they can.
They even offer training classes for free or they'll reimburse you for paying for it.
The County's TAP program office is also there just before going into the workforce dept. You go in the front glass doors to get to these rooms. The TAP program Temporary Assistant program also will speak to you about joining the County. If you're looking for a job, check it out.

I’ve never met a place so willing to try to throw someone out of character and mad at the opportunities that they might have and sit there belittle or distract people apparently there’s some type of espionage going on and corruption

There was a lady right there and she let my mom stand there for 15 minutes, And this security kept on telling us to not get close so we can continue standing there even though there was nobody in line.

As usual our tax dollars at work. You can't reach anyone by phone. I went in to drop important paperwork off for a friend. No one from EDD in the building. I was given the phone number that gives you a 45 minute long message then hangs up on you. My suggestion. There are millions out of work. Hire some of them to help with the backlog of payments you owe folks. Sounds like a win win to me but what do I know too simple a solution. LOL. The office that is supposed to help is just making things harder. They paid out millions of fraudulent claims and then make it nearly impossible for those who paid into it too collect their money. Your think at the very least the higher ups would be at work brainstorming on how to make this stuff right. A little too much to ask I guess.

Nice guy at the entrance helped finding which way to go. He was really helpful. Most people here are bilingual so they can help regardless of your language. Don't know it they're limited to Spanish and English.

Worst experience ever. The staff are so lazy and unhelpful. Applied for training and took days for someone to get back to me only to say that I would most likely not get funding for the training. They expect you to do all the damn work. I honestly don't even know why such department even exists. A waste of tax payer dollars for a department that's useless.
