Great trainer, James, took our group from not knowing one another to genuine care and support for one another in 3 days. One of the gems from our time was understanding how to speak specifics. Vague encouragement like "you're amazing" vs "I appreciate the gifts you share in our organization, your kindness and positive attitude make our office a joy to be in." Another gem, was the value in acknowledging someone's by name. Creating connections in a plethora of ways made this training go beyond head knowledge and into the my heart to truly become someone who inspires my co-workers and friends.

My boss enrolled me into 4 of the Dale Courses a few years ago. At first I thought I would be going to help some of the other new employees with their communication and professional skills, but I was amazed with how much I learned about myself each day. The team is very good at breaking things down and helping with how you communicate and present yourself professionally. I felt that these classes were more useful and important than just about every course I took in college. We will continue to send our new hires to these classes as each person comes back with 10/10 reviews.

I have a thriving group of young employees. We are very excited about the multitude of opportunities that are available to us, however I find that we were not prepared to take on those new projects, my team just did not possess the skill set needed to manage the projects, processes or people effectively. I wanted the opportunity to grow within my company but was unsure of what additional skills I needed to take me to the next level. While I loved project management, I knew that I needed to work on my people management skills (communication, delegating, and performance feedback). The Leadership Training for Managers course was exactly what I needed. Not only did the course touch on these concepts, but it provided invaluable tools that I could use to better delegate, properly communicate with different personality types, and provide the feedback that each team member needed in order to grow within the department. I also really liked that the course was set in a classroom environment - this allowed attendees to engage with and learn from one another. The only reason that I'm reluctant to give 4 stars is the traffic that I experienced each morning and evening getting to and from the location. If you are able, I would suggest staying at a hotel nearby to ease the commute.

I was at a point in my current role where I felt complacent, and knew I needed personal and professional growth to open up new opportunities. I needed to challenge myself and get out of my comfort zone. Fortunately, my employer saw the potential in me and offered to send me to Dale Carnegie training. Most first time participants take a more introductory course but I was "lucky" enough to be thrown into High Impact Presentation training. The coaching method and real time feedback allowed me to step outside my comfort zone more than I could have imagined. As a result, I realized the leadership qualities I possessed and the impact I could make on others. After my first experience with Dale Carnegie I knew I wanted more. I have taken additional courses in Sales, Communication, and Leadership training. My take away has been a whole new outlook, attitude, and confidence level. This training has also provided new tools and processes, all of which are transforming my career opportunities and making me a more efficient, productive, leader. I would recommend Dale Carnegie training to anyone who has a desire to take things to the next level.
