I sat in a classroom with 17 people.
Tuition is $26,000 a person a year
The campus is run down the computers do not work they are wishy-washy on ATI or Kaplan limiting your resources.
The office is from the '70s
The curriculum could definitely use from some of the budget they're getting from every student.
The teachers that are actually in the classroom are not paid enough.
That is just the LVN program not all of the other programs combined.
The curriculum is shawty
You sit there for hours and hours and hours
In clinical you stand there for hours and hours and hours
You're handed to textbook given a few powerpoints and told to work it out. Good luck finding anywhere cheaper but at the same time you get what you pay for
* You can get the last edition for the LVN program they like to tell you and force you to get the newest edition but often times the powerpoints and everything else are off the last edition if you are in the LVN program you do not have to buy the newest edition*
And another one
They love to tell everybody they have 100% passing rate for the NCLEX
They don't mention to you out of everybody who joined the class only five or six of them ever get to the NCLEX
They will forcibly not pass you if they do not think you will not pass the NCLEX
You could have 25 people in your class only five of them ever made it to take the test and if all five of them pass they call it a 100% pass rate .
You've been warned lolol

Great counselors and job coaches are fantastic at their job. I went through this program for my forklift and pallet jack cert and it was fun easy and quick took the class and the next day i was getting my certification

Charles A Jones has an amazing LVN program with 100% NCLEX passing rate. They offer other medical and industrial programs as well. The staff and teachers go above and beyond to make sure you get the extra help you need. There is a career center that will help you get your dream job after school. Highly recommend taking a look at what this school has to offer.

This place is a headache the teachers are great for the LVN Program but the front office lady Mariana is horrible, She has no idea how to be professional. Job center is awesome and very helpful more than anybody else was , the program will charge you so much outside of the tuition for all the required extras you might as well go to UNITEK for their program. It’s 22k for tuition which they require you to pay what the financial aid doesn’t cover while in school full time Monday through Friday 8am-4:30pm which could be over 1500$ on top of your bills a month , their books are double what you can find online but they require everything to be NEW. It’s crazy before joining their program exhaust all other options first .

Choosing the correct school, program and educator is a crucial first step for ones future for a succeeding career path.

After careful consideration of all potential Medical Assisting programs I felt Charles A. Jones Career and Education Center was the best fit for myself considering all aspects including work life balance. A fully accredited program with many positive reviews from previous students as well as family friends I am glad to say CAJ is one of the best decisions I have ever made.

Having exceptional support from Mrs. Bradshaw, who is a highly passionate, skilled, knowledgeable and thorough educator made CAJ a daily delight filled with priceless education which will not be given anywhere else.

Two weeks after my successful externship at one of Sacramentos renown hospitals I received full-time employment. I highly recommend Charles A. Jones Career and Education Center for any individual who is seeking a prosperous career in the medical field as a Medical Assistant.

I was enrolled in the Medical Assistant program with Mrs. Bradshaw from April 2022 - January 2023.

I don't really understand any of the previous bad reviews. I absolutely LOVE Mrs. Bradshaw! She can be tough at times but it's because she is actually passionate about the field and the work she does. She truly wants to see you succeed and be prepared for when you get into the field. The program is a lot of work and if you can't handle an instructor that challenges you because they see your potential for growth, then this may not be the program for you.

Mrs. Bradshaw has been in the field for years and knows what all the employers are looking for in a medical assistant. Thanks to her, I was able to get into an AMAZING site for my externship. I was even landing interviews with hospitals afterwards. I was offered two positions with a hospital on my last day of class. I'm not the only student who was offered a job before our program ended either.

I seriously mean it when I say the quality of education Mrs. Bradshaw provides is the best. She goes above and beyond for her students and really makes things happen so long as you put in the work. As long as you show a willingness to learn and excel, she will recognize it and is more than willing to help you out.

I would highly recommend her program to anyone that wants to get their foot in the door in the medical field!

Now when I tell you, you get what you pay for. This school is a prime example of why you should NEVER let the price sway you. If you can deal with an unorganized, VERY unprofessional DON (which is why the staff act the way they do, except Ms.CHRISTINA CURRY!) Principle who is judge mental, teach yourself up to 8 chapter exams with RARE skills lab and hands on and SELF STUDY (which means come in and READ ALL DAY FOR 8H. This is everyday just about by the way) and RETAIN all of that information to test on in the next two day's, Not enough clinical places even though this program has been around for years! Even when we do go to clinical we are more CNA's and help then LPN students! If they do not allow us on the cart, we will stand around for HOURS doing non LPN work! The DON is very much aware of this and yet we still go to these places! Pay for your on graduation and nursing pins even though the tuition is 20k plus. This is definitely the place for you!

Best Adult Education Center in town!! So good in fact, I decided to go again to achieve my licensing as a Pharmacy Tech after already graduating for the Medical Assistant program!! Staff are the Best as they do all they can to help each student reach their goals. The externship and job placement assistance is the icing on the cake.
