Really Great museum! Have been stationed here a while, even helped pressure wash the outside planes but never went inside. Need to go back a few more times and watch the videos playing.

Free to enter. Plenty to see inside for the history of the area and the base. F22 inside. Ourside has one of the few SR71s in display as well as several other cool aircraft.

Nice small museum. Staff we nice when we visited. Can't wait till they move everything into the new building at the West Gate once it's built. Wish we could have gone inside the NASA Shuttle vehicle parked outside. Like the UK flight test section as well. I sent pics of that to our friends in the UK I worked with in the MOD on the F-35s. Has so much potential once they get into the newer big building. Thanks for keeping the history alive.

So thankful to be able to visit this museum with my dad and father in law who are both veterans - Army and Air Force. The museum is located on Edwards Air Force Base so you have to have base access currently - but they are raising funds to move the museum just outside the gates. The have static displays including different test aircraft including the beautiful SR-71 Blackbird. Chuck Yeager’s orange jet hangs from the ceiling and a gorgeous F-22 Raptor also sits inside.

Amazing facility about the history of test piloting in the US. Loads to see in a small space. There are two outdoor air parks affiliated with the museum, too. One right outside, and one in Palmdale. Be sure to go on a cool day so you can better enjoy the outdoor exhibits.

Such a delight to visit and an abundance of history all in one place! Loved the static display of planes at Century Circle and outside and inside the Museum, along with the artifacts and treasures that have been discovered from the golden age of flight. We got to hold one of Neil Armstrong's compression suits...what History in our hands! Be sure to ask questions as the staff possess a wealth of knowledge to share! Truly a jewel in the desert, don't miss it!

Currently only available to those with permission onto the base. There are a lot of historical artifacts crammed into a small facility. I'm looking forward to seeing the new museum when it's done, filled up and open to the general public . Rumor has it there are many things stashed around the base, just waiting for a permanent home.
