Our family has been working with Stacey Ashton for about a year now. We have had many behavior analysts (B.C.B.A.) over the years for my son who is autistic and we feel lucky to have met Stacey. She is a skilled professional who is willing to help wherever she can. She has a special talent and focus in social skills training, which is what my 10 year old son really needs. She has been able to break down the skills required in any social interactions into very small parts and train child, mom, and staff in those needed areas. It has been great to watch progress in my son's eye contact and his responding to others simply by breaking down the steps needed to have a simple conversations and having everyone reinforce those skills. If your child needs some extra help in making friends, having a conversation, or needs some help with his/her behavior in general, I would recommend calling her.

We have 2 boys on the spectrum, 16 and 19. It has been a challenge over the years to find someone that can relate to them equally, since one is High Functioning and the other is Asperger's. One of the great things about Stacey Ashton's approach is that she has groups setup with typical models that the boys can relate to and learn proper behavior from. It also helps that the boys both LOVE the group setting. It keeps them focused and learning. We were extremely lucky to find this group and we can't recommend her enough.
