You can expect a high quality educational preschool experience here. The focused learning activities for the kids a fun and engaging, there is plenty of unstructured but guided and positively supervised play time, and the outcomes of past participating students speak for themselves. My family is so pleased to have had our youngest one’s cherished preschool years fulfilled at A+ Academics.

We have had 2 kids at this school for the last 5 years. All we have ever had are positive and caring experiences with the current staff. My oldest son (6) still asks to visit the school to see the teachers/owner. My oldest started kindergarten in the city school system this year ( during COVID) and is far ahead of others in his current class. Although I would like to take credit for this, most of the credit goes to A+ Academics. There is a great balance of education, art, free play and outdoor activities.

We have always been kept in the loop with anything going on at the school or any personal issues with either of our kids. The facility is always safe, extra clean and decorated with seasonal decorations as well as educational decor. My kids have always been happy with meals and snacks provided. Anytime we bring any food or treats in for celebrations the staff has been extra cautious if there are any food allergies.

I have been beyond happy with our experience at A+ academics over the last 5 years. I refer many of my friends and family to send their children to this facility. I was referred here by a friend that I highly trust so there is a great trend here.

I feel that the current staff truly cares about my children’s well being and growth and I have personally experienced this over the past 5 years.

My oldest daughter attended this school for a little over 2 years and loved it. When it comes to my kids I make sure to do research before putting them into something. This school was like one big family with the kids. They were always playing and making new friendships. My daughter was always coming home with new art and new work sheets that they worked on that week. Never once did my daughter have one bad thing to say about her day at school it was always something good. They always made sure to let you know if something was happening through ClassDOJO. The only issue I had was with a former teacher named Jazz. She would make you feel very uncomfortable and with the former review she left I can tell you that was a lie. Thankfully that teacher is now gone. The only time I ever saw the boyfriend there was if he had to repair something or set something up for the kids! Every Friday I picked up my daughter the teachers had the blankets ready to take home so they could wash them. Staff is very friendly and always there for the children and parents with any questions or concerns you may have 🙂

If I can give them zero I would. I was told by the director that they give the kids 2 or 3 weeks to adjust and get the hang of it. I dropped off my daughter not even for an hour and was told to come pick her up and that she would need something smaller and more teachers. Yes, she was throwing a fit because it was her first time in a school setting.
And yet, now my child is at another preschool thriving, with an even bigger classroom.

It’s unfortunate to see less than favorable former staff leaving terrible reviews. During the almost two years my daughter attended A Plus , the only negative impact was her experience with Miss Jass. My husband worked at the corner across from the school and was able to always monitor outside play, along with me popping in for pick ups. We are very thorough when questioning our daughter after pick up and she’s always had an incredible time. I can assure that foods are not frozen, not sure how they could feed a child frozen apples and frozen sandwiches. Our daughter was slightly delayed and now is caught up with her age group since attending. As far as cleanliness , staff is always cleaning up and teaching the children to participate in cleaning activities. I also see the very bitter staff member mentioned the owners boyfriend being on the site but did neglect to mention he was on site repairing the yard, fencing, and installing the new play areas for the children. I would recommend A Plus 10x over & cannot wait for our new baby to be old enough to attend. As parents, it’s on us to check out any school thoroughly and I’m glad I did before enrolling her here. Staff is also very attentive with ClassDojo and keeping an open line of communication.

When we had moved to the Modesto area, one of the first things we had to do was find a new preschool for my son. I looked at many options from Montessori to Childtime to Merryhill. Once I found A+, my search was over. The program, teachers and curriculum was closest to what my son was enrolled in when we lived in NY. You know you made the right choice when 1) academically your child is prepared for kindergarten 2) you meet some of the most extraordinary families 3) three years later and your son still lights up when he sees his teachers around town. Not to mention, every time we drive by he tells you how much he misses that school! Thank you A+ for all that you do! You are appreciated in our community.

My son has attended this school for a couple years, and in that time I’ve seen his growth both academically and socially. The director and teachers have been really patient and understanding, and always give great feedback. We’ve all really enjoyed his time here and are very grateful that we chose this preschool.

All three of my kids went here, it's a great place. The teachers are very patient and kind, and they treat you like family here.
