After finding out our daughter was nearly two grades behind in her Montessori program, we were desperate for support to help her transition to a traditional school. Discovering Sylvan was a true relief! From our very first meeting with Melanie, we knew we were in the right place. She gave us honest advice about moving her out of Montessori and provided a clear plan to help our daughter get back on track. We signed her up for four days a week, and the progress has been incredible.

Our daughter is not only catching up quickly, but she’s also excited to go to Sylvan every day. She absolutely adores all her tutors at Sylvan, especially Dr. Kim, who she says is her favorite! Her teacher at school has noticed her rapid improvement, and we couldn’t be happier.

Very pleased! My daughter's academic performance improved dramatically in less than 2 months with Sylvan, surpassing the reading FAST test score needed for promotion. Her math test scores also showed significant improvement. Previously labeled by her third grade teacher as the worst student in the class, my daughter's confidence was restored thanks to Sylvan's help. The teacher had initially expressed doubt about her ability to pass the tests, but Sylvan proved them wrong. Thank you Sylvan for the incredible turnaround in my daughter's academic progress.

Sylvan was passionate about enabling my child to reach her goals. They made personal scheduling accommodations to help make all sessions possible, personally communicated with reminders and updates, kept me informed as to her progress and obstacles and took a personal interest in her success. The feedback from the testing is empowering as a parent to see where she was and what we could be working on and the success of the tutoring was proven in her testing results. Would highly recommend all around for any child needing a some extra support!

I would like to share my experience with Sylvan Learning Center, for some it is a tutoring experience for me it is much more than that. I came to the United States last July with my 8 year old son. We come from a country where French is spoken. Not only did I have to ensure that my son was integrated into his new school environment but also he had to understand the new methodology.

I had the best support I could have hoped for. I turned to Sylvan Learning Center because the school where I had enrolled my son had referred me to them for standardized tests. But it turns out that even though my son passed the tests and unfortunately wasn't accepted into school because he was on the waiting list, I can't get rid of tutoring.
The support is special from them, the monitoring is daily and the exchange with the parent is impeccable.
I can only recommend Sylvan Learning Center. My son has been there to date and we are very satisfied.

I would like to thank Melanie, Robert, Dr. Kim, and Sylvan staff for doing an amazing job with my daughters. One of my daughters was below level due to the pandemic and was able to close the gap and pass her Algebra 1 end of course exam. My second daughter needed assistance with Algebra 2 and was able to achieve an A on her Final exam. This was all due to the excellent program and tutoring by the Sylvan staff. Melanie did an amazing job communicating with their teachers to help with any area of weakness. Without reservation, I recommend Sylvan to any parent/guardian who wants the best learning center for their child. Thank you again for all of your help!
