The parking lot might be a good place to operate a portable ham radio from since it is above the valley floor with a good view to the east.

Fantastic facility! Went on an Ecology field trip and every thing exceeded expectations. Kitchen fully stocked (pans, pots, utensils), beds were clean and comfortable, everything was clean and neat, and lots of open space for group activities (meals, cards, discussions, movies). And to top it all off the staff was incredibly kind. 10/10 would go again for sure!
