EAST Initiative is an organization filled with people who truly care about education and are providing opportunities for students to learn about technology and connect with their communities in a positive manner through service based projects. I've been providing student trainings across a variety of topics related to photography since 2011 and can wholeheartedly say "EAST kids" are some of the most respectful, inquisitive, and hard working students I've ever encountered in my nearly two decade (2006-present) career as an educator. I love working the EAST staff, the "facilitators", the fellow "trainers", and the students. If you're a teacher or administrator of a school, check them out to see if you can get an EAST program in your school.
