We have been going here for years (maybe 6 years or more). We have a child in the Tiny Sharks Jiujitsu class and 2 children in the advanced /kids Jiujitsu program. The owner/ instructor of the jiujitsu classes is THE BEST! He is stern but so funny and the kids are learning so much from him. We LOVE 5280 Martial Arts! Side note - they do parties!

My daughter LOVES training here! Everyone is kind...interested in helping guide kids into well rounded, good people. Before a student can test for a higher belt; their parent and teacher have to agree the child is ready to represent that higher belt. This is accomplished by showing responsible, respectful behavior.

8 years ago my son stepped on the mat to learn self defense against bullying. The level of instruction and compassion helped him developed on and off the mat. The sense on community lead me to join them and have spent the past 7 years enjoying the martial arts journey with great instructors and a great community that has become like family.

We brought our two sons to 5280 in 2023. Our sons were not really active in any school sports or summer sports. One was 10 and one our youngest was a tiny shark. The transformation of our boys can only be described as unbelievable! Our boys grew confident, became more disciplined met new friends and could not wait to go to training! They absolutely LOVED Ms. Rebecca and Shihan Kevin! My wife even joined and loved it as much as our boys did! I could literally write for days about 5280 Martial Arts. This is the standard for martial arts training. Staff is amazing, students are amazing but the best thing is Shihan Kevin is authentic, real and just has a love for BJJ that shows! in 2024 we moved to Michigan and left 5280 MA. Almost every day our boys talk about how much they miss training there. Thank you so much for everything 5280 MA!!!! we love you guys

Great BJJ training, especially in self-defense. There are plenty of class times from which to choose. Saturday morning BJJ open mat is a good option for working on technique with fellow students. Highly recommend 5280 Martial Arts.
